and Pippo+Vieri as back up:down:

3finishers, i still insist on the idea Milan need Cassano and Juve needs Gila more
and i inisist that as milan have kaka, pirlo, seedorf
we dont need cassano as a creatine fc.
we need sheva's partner...
and that should be Gila
and sheva will go a bit beside him,
because he can both create and finish.

Pirlo and Seedorf are playing in the center and Kaka behind the two strikers,(4-3-1-2isn't it?)
Cassano may play in the midfield to sub Kaka when and if needed,
but most important, he can be one of this two strikers,
with Sheva the target man, because Sheva could be a finisher better than Gila and maybe Cassano a supporting striker better than Sheva,
Vieri and Pippo gives u many alternatives on the finisher
or in a rotation system u could use Vieri/Pippo as finisher
and Sheva/Cassano as supporting finisher
this is a much more balanced team IMO,
now it will be Gila/Vieri/Pippo for one spot and u have to depend absolutely to Sheva for the other,
that will proove very unwise+useless the Vieri moove
and an arrogant demonstration of power the transfer of Gila under this sircumstances,:greedy:
Milan doesnt realy need Gila now,
they buy just to buy smth and keep the elite players away from others:fero:
(unless they have plans to sell Inzaghi, Carlo would never permite that though)

So now it's confirmed. Ariedo Braida announced that Milan has bought Gilardino. Don't know about the financial details though.

Really? Last I saw, Gila is training with Parma and Milan agreed that they will not announce anything until next Monday.

That's what was reported earlier. It seems Braida went ahead of things and Galliani had slow him down. So yes, in Milan's website they deny Braida making such a statement.

we have missed out on a gem.
we really have.
and its very sad.
all i can hope for now is that we dont miss out on cassano.
Well, we have Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I would take him over Gilardino anyday considering that the former is a greater threat to an opposition defense than the latter. Ibra can pretty much do everything up top, including hold the ball up like no other player I have seen before. Then with Trezeguet still being one of the best finishers in the world, we really did not have a need for Gilardino.

Except that we could sold Trezeguet for 37m pounds and bought Gila for 30m Euros.
That is perhaps true, and if it was the truth I would have taken the deal. Sometimes I really do not understand what goes on in Moggi's head, although perhaps there is something we do not know about. You cannot always trust Channel4 for the right information on transfer speculation.

I think its a lot simpler than it seems. Capello seems to be an admirer of David Trezeguet, and just wanted to retain his services up front. I think that one is pretty straightforward.

The deal with Milan is said to be close to 30m is it? Im all confused now. I thought parma wanted 22m pounds, but Milan's deal is near 30m euros?

Ah, who cares. Im happy with my current squad

Although a few additions are welcome
