No you didnt :D

And actually, I dont think anyone will make way for him. IMO, he'll either play in midfield as a partner for Vieira or up front with Henry, while Reyes could play left wing if Pires leaves.

EDIT: Actually, now I remember that they've signed Hleb, so IMNO he'll probably play up front in case Hleb plays in midfield. Or, they could play Alaiksandr on the left, altho that's not his natural position.
Exactly, Baptista won't replace Vieira.

You're absolutely right, it'll either be:

Ljungberg - Vieira - Baptista - Pires/Hleb

Henry - Reyes/Van Persie

or:

Ljungberg - Vieira - Hleb - Reyes/Pires

Baptista - Henry

It’s Milan or nothing, says Gila
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alberto Gilardino says he will join no other club apart from Milan this summer - or remain at Parma until the end of his contract.

The player made the shock announcement in a statement this evening, after dismissing widespread speculation that his proposed transfer to the Rossoneri was now a done deal.

"I have a contract with Parma until June 2007 which I am ready to respect," said the Italian international.

"They will make the final decision but I have indicated from the very start that I want to join Milan, after taking into consideration the characteristics of the players they have there.

"Negotiations between the two clubs have dragged on and I, like everybody else, am waiting for news regarding my future.

"Parma have always maintained that they would satisfy my requests which today becomes explicit by excluding any other options which I considered until the end of my holiday.

"The alternative for me now is to stay at Parma until the natural conclusion of my contract. I have not signed for Milan."

Reports this morning claimed that a £20m deal had been agreed in principal, but Gilardino’s comments make that rumour highly unlikely.

Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi and Parma transfer chief Oreste Cinquini also claimed today that nothing had been decided.

One of Gilardino’s agents, Francesco Romano, added that no progress had been made between the two clubs recently.

"I have nothing more to add to what Milan have already said – the clubs are still distant," Romano noted.

"Milan have said it and so has Cinquini. There have been no significant phone calls and nothing new to report over the last few days.

"Hopefully we can sit round a table from Monday onwards to start talks again. This is possible."

I think he says Milan or nothing b/c Juve don't want him at all and he's scared of going to Inter. So that takes off Inter and Juve(knowing they don't want him).

i don' know y he want to play for milan that bad
didn't he said before he is a juve fan !!!!! ???
Because he can shine better in Milan, they have a better attacking flow to their game than Juventus. Pairing with Shevchenko will also increase his chances of scoring goals as Sheva is also creative with his passes. Just remember Pirlo type passes and the type of balls Gila likes to recieve and play.

Milan will be devastating with Gila in their Ranks.

No he did not . he wanted to play with Milan. the issue that his Family wanted him to go to juve cuz most of them support juve but as long as juve has a super strikers like (zlatan-trez-dp) even zala he won't find a chance indeed according to juve won the scudetto with those players .

anyway, we are not sad cuz he did not come to Delle alpi cuz we can not be confused ! we have zlatan (23 years old) which is in my opinion was a fantastic deal for juve and he's on the same age of gila. So Moggi won't bring a player like gilardino as long as we have zlatan.

moggi or even capello can not gamble with 30 mil euro to bring him while we already starting our mathces with zla-trez -DP !

The Players won the scudetto ?

juve can spend 30 mil in players who can do much more in another positions like defense and midfield !

I actually am sad that we dont get Gilardino, he is IMO a good future replacement for the Symbol of Juve. He was a fan of Juve as a kid, but after we ignored him and opted for Zlatan last summer, he has really made up his mind and wants to join Milan.

And as Trez isnt sold as of yet, we really are far from getting Gila.

To be frank we don't need Gilardino, not with Trezeguet around.
Exactly. I dont care what Gilardino is, what he could be, what he would be... Trezeguet is enough. He nets in a lot of goals, and important ones too. Despite his injury last season only strengthened my belief in him.

I expect the deal with Gilardino to be announced sometime next week, according to a friend maybe tuesday or thursday where they will all gather at milanello.

Again, please, Gilardino joining AC Milan is not the end of the world. And so long the transfer season has not closed, just be patient and have a bit of faith on what Moggi has in store for us.

He's still a juve fan.. but Juve isn't interested, so he would prefer Milan over any other club..

And let's not forget that It's not just his choice, as the bid has to be able to help Parma from its financial woes..

I agree with you that trez is enough , the problem is that he can be injured easily.
with the surgery last year, his chances of being injured have been reduced, so it's okay :thumb:

He's saying Milan or nothing because his only other options are Chelsea and Inter. Real have their sights set on Robinho, Juve don't want him and he doesn't want to leave Italy so that narrows it down to one of the two Milanese clubs. I'm sure he isn't the only person in the world who would choose Milan over Inter.

He probably isn't too keen on Juve these days because we opted for Zlatan instead of him last season when it seemed that he was practically a Juve player.

How can you want Gila just because you think he'll be a future symbol of Juve? We've got Zlatan, Mutu and soon, maybe even Cassano. A pretty stellar line up of individuals who are talented enough to take up that mantle.
