I see that we're coping exactly the same way that we did with Huijsen, Soule and the rest. 'He's not that good', 'hasn't shown anything' 'take the money'. We have this very short term thinking were we take a safe 15m today instead of keeping the player and see their value/performances double. Only for them to be replaced by a mediocre Gonzalez/Kostic/Kelly type of player.

Mate, we sold a 21 year old player with promise for 25 year old flop.. for 6 million
Hate this deal and don't want to be this guy but TECHNICALLY we book the full income from selling at 15m this year and we amortize the purchase of 10m over the contract period (I'm guessing 5 years) so its +15m and -2m

But I hate this move and think Costa has decent enough promise that we should've kept him to holddown that RB spot for a long period.

We finally have a player people want. But instead of using that situation to our advantage to get much needed funds, we sell before the competition heats up. Plus we don't even get a load of cash to use, instead we decide to take a player that we had no interest in and his club don't want.

We don't get to record the full 15m though. We still have to deduct his value.

We bought him for 13.8m and have only owned him since January, so the plusvalenza would be around 3m.
