You're kidding, right, my friend?

If healthy, Aquilani is head and shoulders above Sissoko and Melo.

When was the last time they had a deep lying playmaker like this?

He is exactly what they need on this team, and to be quite honest, I personally can live with a platoon of Pepe and Lanzafame as the left wingers if the ohter three are Krasic, Marchisio, and Aquilani.

Unless you are one of those who thought that marotta could fix all the problems in 3 months
No, it takes a couple years to build a championship winning team. I was thinking that no matter which players are brought in, Del Neri will not change his system. If you see Aquilani as a Pirlo-type deep lying playmaker, then Del Neri would have to magically become flexible.

What are the terms of the deal?

Is there an option to buy, and if so, how much is the option?

Is he cup tied?
Not cup tied - Hodgson says thats why he didn't play him last night.

Nice to see that we are getting players to provide us with a goal threat from all over and not just relying on the strikers.

Plus a midfielder who can pass and keep the ball.

We needed a CM, and this would be a great signing....if only he wasnt injured so much

better sign another backup CM with his characteristics as well....

not enough time dude....we should invest on LB for next move, thats the only thing that can make me sleep well at night

Wow, this news is fucking crazy. If we get Aquilani on loan with a decent option, I'm going to be covered in sticky for days...

If we get Krasic (done), Aquilani on loan with option, a quality LB and a 4th choice CB, all in the last two weeks of the mercato, both of my heads will explode.

Indeed, which I don't think DN will.

Although he did use Poli with Cuntdoria.

As a rule, a player may not play in a UEFA club competition (i.e. UEFA
Champions League and UEFA Europa League, but not UEFA Super Cup) for
more than one club in the course of the same season. Exceptionally,
however, a player who has been fielded in the first, second or third qualifying
round of the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League is entitled to
play in the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League for another
club as from the group stage, provided that his former club did not qualify for
the group phase of either the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Europa
League; moreover, as from the start of the round of 32 (round of 16 for UEFA
Champions League), a player can be registered in accordance with
paragraphs 18.17 to 18.20 below. For the avoidance of doubt, a substitute
player who has not been fielded is entitled to play for another club competing
in the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League in the course of
the same season, provided that he is registered with the UEFA
administration in accordance with the present regulations.
