Well, I hope we try Aquilani - Marchisio, although I understand the concerns people have when it comes to muscle.

I'd love to see more of Marchisio in his proper position with a passer next to him. He'd do great. He's our prince.

I dont know why its even being discussed..Aquaman,will play when Marchisio is not fit,he wont take over Marchisio's place,i wouldn't think so anyway,i mean Aquilani has not been playing for a while and he needs to adapt and his injuries would not make him available to be a starter, not yet anyway..
its gonna be melo-marchisio, being backed up by sissoko and aquilani..which in my opinion is very good..

"Juventus must be laughing their asses of, selling us Poulsen and receiving Aquilani on loan."
- A Liverpool fan

They should appreciate Poulsen
This deal reminds me of something Moggi would do :juventus:

we sell them Poulsen for 6mil get Aquilani for 16mil, basically 10mil to buy him

You sure about that? If he can stay fit then Aquilani will probably take the starting spot. IMO the question is who will partner him?
That is awesome, love the Gladiator pic.

I guess if he plays well and states he would love to stay here, with proper negotiation the price could be lowered even more. To me 13-14 millions wouldn't be to optimistic with proper pressure from Aquilani to Liverpool.

I read that some think that Marchisio - Aquilani partnership is too weak defensively. However, for at least 80% of our games the defensive skills of those two are more than enough. Moreover, with those two I hope I won't see Sienas and Palermos pressuring as and proper passing from our midfield and control of possesion could prove to be the best defence. None will score if they don't get the ball, do they? :)

I would think that would be best for Juventus..Marchisio has what it takes to be our starting box to box, where as aquilani looks more like an attacking midfielder than a box to box and when he is fit aquilani really is a very good player, but when a player hits the kind of injury he did,its not likely that he will be getting a regular start right away..

So yeah,im sure it would be melo-marchisio,cos aquilani-marchisio would be a little too attacking and nobody who can win the ball, especially when we have motta and de ceglie playing at the back..
