I think they will buy Aquilani. His form has only mirrored the form of the team and his positives outweigh his negatives. I think DN has overused certain players this season tiring them and making them look worse than they are. The form of Aquilani, Krasic, Chiellini, Melo has dropped as the season has gone on.

Also if we don't take the option to buy him there's no guarantee that he's be replaced by a higher quality player.

He would be a very good deal for ~10M, the agreed fee of 16 is simply too much. I like Aquaman, he is really dynamic and pretty special as a midfielder. Would love to keep him. What I miss is the Aquaman that went up the the pitch more, think DN has restricted him more but a more free role could suit him better.
