He's like a blade of grass, because the football game passes over him so easily. Creativity? Outdone by his Lecce counterparts on numerous occasions, especially that assist. Aquilani hasn't done that sort of thing at all this season. Shooting? Like Marchisio, blazes over the crossbar very easily. Dribbling? If he can avoid it then he will, he appears to be allergic to the opposition penalty area. Doesn't get involved nearly enough, and hasn't shown any sort of penetration of the opposition which is worthy of him to wear this shirt. Might as well rename this thread "Michela Quattrociocche".

16m can easily be spent elsewhere.

Despite the flimsy performance today, I think he may well be worth the investment anyway, depending on whatever new trainer comes in to replace Del Neri. Perhaps we'll get someone that can get the most out of this guy.
