Finally someone speaking sense. We have had shit fullbacks since 2006, fullbacks are our priority.
Think about the economics of it.

Aguero would cost 45 Million, let's say.
Quag costs 10.5, and Matri 15.5
That means that Juve would be spending an additional 19 million on the forward position, all the while creating another hole, regardless of how good Aguero is, and I rate him highly.

That Extra 19 million can certainly get you a class fullback, while they would still have enough in their budget, I would assume, to acquire yet another class fullback and a left winger.

So why would Juve put themselves behind the 8 ball by 19 million, and the primary holes on this team yet to be filled?

This Aguero talk, if it does come to fruition, just smacks of the Berlusconi days of 3-4 years ago when he would spend all of his transfer budget on forwards that they didn't need, just to appease the fanbase.

You know what would make the fanbase happy? Two really good fullbacks and a really good left winger.

Agreed. What's the point of settling for Beck and Ziegler to fill the gaps in our weakest department so you can afford to strengthen the strongest department?

Now a top RB, LB, LM and Aguero would be great.

Yes, ti would certainly be great. But I am of the belief that filling those three main holes will also bring out the best in the current set of forwards, as they would be getting the service that they need.

Indeed. Isla/Cassani on the right and Cissokho/Tremoulinas on the left, with Vargas as left winger. That would be money well invested.

Can anyone explain what your worries on Pastore's mentality are?
I have no worries on Pastore's mentality. Sometimes I feel that he has a sense of entitlement, but he's still young. Humility sometimes needs to be acquire dover time.

I just don't see either he or Aguero being a necessity on this team at this time.

We need a new SS because we don't know how Quag will be. Or do you believe Matri,Del Piero,Toni,Iaquinta to be good enough if Quag breaks down again?

So, spend 45 million on an Aguero, under the premise that no one is sure how Quag will be post-injury, when the money could be better spent on other areas of glaring need?

    No thank you.

A football team is only as good as its keeper and their back line.

Thankfully they have Buffon, who can still be a top notch keeper, and Storari, who is pretty damn good in his own right.

Those fullbacks need to be fixed ASAP, unless people don't mind seeing Juve lose next year, but with more style and flash.

    That's why I'd rather Pastore because he won't cost 45 Million :p

Beck seems to be done so thats our RB sorted and it seems we're getting Ziegler so him and De Ceglie can be our LB's.

This season, goals scored have not been the problem because we scored only 2 less goals than Napoli and a few less than Inter and Milan. Our real problem was our defense since we allowed 45 goals, which is simply unacceptable.

We need better than that. If we want a good defense, less than Isla/Cassani and Cissokho/Tremoulinas will not be good enough.

And those fullbacks don't exactly fill me with a lot of confidence. Yes, they would be better than what was trotted out this year, but it's not enough of an improvement to help this squad get over the top.

And my feeling on Pastore is the same as Aguero, regardless if he is cheaper. That money needs to be nvested in the Fullbacks and the LW position.

We need a jump in quality. There are very few players in our squad who can create something from nothing.

Both Aguero and Pastore can provide that. I would be delighted with either.
