they got duff and coLE. what do they need robben for ?
Duff is commonly injured, and Cole isn't going to stay at Chelsea very long...

I like Joe Cole, he's one of my favourite English players simply because he's not typically English. His balance on the ball is second to none, and I'm sad that the English coaches (presumably) flattened his game and told him to just pass the ball like everyone else

I'm not so sure about his chances in Serie A though. He'd probably get shut down too easily, which automatically nullifies his greatest strength, and I'm surprised that he doesn't score more goals then he does (even in his pre-Chelsea days)

dont think so. i mean, players like santana, marchionni etc can do good in italy, and when relatively proven player comes he's doomed to failure. even more, i think lotsa foreing players here fail not because of of tough defenders, but because of absolutely different mentality. imagine tons of nicks everyday around.

we should go after cole. 4-2-3-1 would work great then. i wouldnt mind even keeping trez.
he isnt in the regular england NT, he is very unlikely to leave england now

i know. and i think that leaving england would do only good for him. not for his international career. though playing in germany didnt hurt hargreaves chances.

I ss that some people still greave for Trez aparture.......I do not. My god.....his fans must have loved Bierhoff & Inzaghi too.

I can forsee a few-year crisis in Juve now. After a collapse of Moggis plan,it woul be a miracle that we compete for Scudetto.
This problem could be solved with 2-3 smart buys but hell.....if they will play like Legero & Miccoli this year....race for non-relegation stands in our way.
Here is how would I do the transfers this off-season:

Sell: Trez(imidietly)
Montero
Tudor(if nessecary)
Camoranesi

Keep: Juliano(he has some quality to show for a season)
Nedved(IMO he is a leader and I cant see him going nowhere)
DP(no comment)
Thuram(the man who is phisicaly & mentaly ready to carry the defence....IMO indispensible)

BUY: bring in a WC striker(Gila,Zlatan,Cave....frankly...I dont give a fukk)
Kapo....we have him.....for Sq.rotation its OK
A combination here( LB or RM...Evra or Marchionni. On this buy depends Zambos position next term)
RB......Trabelsi would be excelent.....Oddo....NO
WC Playmaker....Im keen onley on Diego(Deco as another alternative)....a player that is Dribbling & passing capable
DC......Ferarri,Mexes,Squillaci.....one or two of them....as long theyr good....I dont care.
GK..........any backup

Players that should retire: Conte,Ferrara,Chimenti

That is my seeing of how should it be but everything lies in the hands of our "Transfer guru" Moggi.....in any way....things should be interesting this summer.

Lampard's class, I think he should stay in England and rip it up there rather than risking his career in Serie A. Maybe that sounds a bit unambitious, but I don't think he has much to gain in Serie A, apart from maybe losing his place in the England squad

haha thats true.
I love Lampard, he's awesome. Probably 90% why I watch Chelsea anyway :)

But I've always wondered bout England though, why they rarely gave McManaman any chance of playing. The guy plays in Spain and isn't really bad there, shouldn't he be considered seeing he's more exposed to the better side of football or something

Macca is(was) IMO next GREAT player after Gascoigne. 90% of English players are over-rated but Macca is a class. I would like to see ManCity in EPL next season, they have lovely team......

Macca is the only english player who isn't over-rated? The guy hasn't had a good season for like eight years, it's embarassing. He sucked his entire time at Madrid and he still sucks for Man City. The guy doesn't even play for the NT...How can he be better than Steven Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand, or Paul Scholes?

He sucked in Madrid???????????????? Oh my gosh.
He was brilliant in Madrid when he played....and he didnt played a lot cuz of coaches. He brought them a CL finals single-handedly. RealMadrid ruined his career but when he played...he played awesome. ManCity sucks because of different reasons. BTW....guy is 32.

I never saw him play a good match for Madrid, and no matter who the coach is, they can't bench a player who is supposedly so good....

Maybe he is....in DC position. Ouh how i like when someone compares players of different positions...
I meant it as a comparison to other players of the same position. It is my opinion that Rio is among the top defenders in the world, while it would be a very big stretch to put Macca among the top midfielders in the world...
