Go with number 1.. Its a beauty.. But go with the 2220.80 version which has the Co-Axial Movement (some say it is the best automatic movement in the world).

I have one, and its timeless :D

The downside of N.4 is the weight. IT IS QUITE HEAVY. If you want a heavy watch that is nicer than N.4 go with the planet ocean.
    Any of these:

    http://www.omega.ch/index.php?id=932&details=1&ref=29185038&no_cache=1
    http://www.omega.ch/index.php?id=932&details=1&ref=29105182&no_cache=1

These are 44.5mm, the 2220.80 is 41 mm
    http://www.omega.ch/index.php?id=286&details=1&ref=22208000&no_cache=1
In real life it looks much nicer than in the picture.

In Casino Royale Bond wore the 2220.80 and the 44.5 mm Planet Ocean 2900.50.91
    http://www.omega.ch/index.php?id=931&details=1&ref=29005091&no_cache=1

In Quantum on Solace he wore only the 42 mm planet ocean 2201.50.00:

Yeh, I am a fan of both Bond and Omega :D

yea, i like the 222080, not sure wether i would get quartz or co-axial, the auto version is significantly more expensive and i am a cheapskate! i love the planet ocan but it's a bit big for my liking (44.5mm) i find the 41mm seamasters are the biggest i would go, do u think the 222080 can be worn as a dress watch with a suit? i was worried it would come off as a casual watch and i don't want to fork out for a dress watch, want a watch for all occasions

do you guys hold Rado in high regards, or no?
rado's are sexy, very interesting and different designs, i had a choice between a certian rado and a longines, ended up going with the longines, but rado's are very nice, key thing is they're different, but i agree with byron, i'm not a fan of their digital range

Hublot are nice, but very very expensive. They might be over priced for that matter.
same with rolex, i think theyre damn over priced, they just exploit the fact that theyre a huge name and that people will buy them no matter what

    Not really...

For me at least, both Rolex and Omega are much bigger names than Hublot. And the mechanic envolved in making one is more accurate and precise.

Rolex deserves its price for what the watch contains so does Omega but not Hublot.

true, that's a good point, why are hublots so expensive, but then, why are watches such as jaeger lecoultre, cartier or patek phillipe so expensive, do they justify their price?

i happen to love omega's personally, i've had 3 omega's and one rolex, and i can say that i actually liked the omegas more, and in terms of performance and quality, omegas are in no way inferior to rolex despite rolex's being almsot 3 times the price (submariner compared to seamaster)

i know people who have bought a rolex to jsut show off or to show their 'status', i don't think that's cool
