“Serie A giants Juventus are yet to hand midfielder Adrien Rabiot a new deal and the Frenchman is once again attracting interest from the Premier League.
Giovanni Albanese has reportedabout the situation of Rabiot, whose contract at the Bianconeri runs out in the summer transfer window. The player is currently focused only on the present and on ending the season well with Juve, who had managed to sign him to a new deal only last summer but it was a one-year extension.
This time around though, Juve would struggle to tie him down to a new deal because of the removal of Growth Decree regulations. Without tax benefits, Rabiot’s new deal could weigh around €18 million on Juve’s wage bill and that is a big amount.
The relationship between the two parties are very good, with Rabiot also keen to make sure that talks about a new deal are postponed. Having said that, Rabiot still harbours dream of playing in England at some point and offers from the Premier League could come in the summer.”
