Newcastle bound probably, We should also get rid of McKennie and Arthur. Bring Rovella and Fagioli in their places. Invest the money we got for em in LB and LW.

Like as if he'd be willing to accept a smaller salary. Even €5M net would be too much for a player of his level. Sell asap.
Agreed. But Id renew him at ~4m, which is also probably the salary hed be able to collect elsewhere and is a lot closer to his overall level. It gives us a chance to successfully sell him if Max loses his hard-on for Adrien. If he's not okay with that, sell him right now.

This guy was a complete waste of money. Hopefully we can get a nominal fee for him. Does his contract expire next year?
This cunts contract expires next year.

Would be amazing to get him off our books a year earlier tho. And even gain a small capital gain from a sale.

Terminate Ramsey’s contract and then send Arturd to whichever desperate team wants him (on loan) and that’ll be fantastic. Addition via subtraction.

No. Just no. What if he accepts the renewal and we struggle to sell him? Fuck no to offering him a renewal, unless we make him an insulting offer in the region of 2.5 million.

If he accepts the renewal we:
1. Pay a lot less to him next season;
2. Dont lose an asset for free next summer.

The risk of him not being movable at a reasonable salary such as 4m imo isnt likely to materialize and its a risk I would take.

Of course he isnt likely to almost halve his salary this summer, but in that case force him out, lets not lose another player for free.

Is it true that losing him for free wouldn’t be detrimental to our books bc we acquired him for free? Selling him would be reported as income earned from an asset with a minimal (non zero) cost basis / expense?
