I am still sitting here days after the Inter game and wonder what the fuck happened to Rabiot on that game. He is a mystery. Why he is utter shit for 90% of the games, looking like he does not care & and suddently he goes absolute mental, playing like a world class, showing he care... I dont get it man..
Although he has struggled, i wouldn't say he doesn't care. He has been throwing himself in front of shots this whole season. It has just gone unnoticed because what follows hasn't been great.
Let's embrace that little quality we have in our midfield. This guy is a monster on his day. We just need to help him have more of those. Because on his day, there aren't many better than him in what he does. We need that.
Some people here might think they understand more than Allegri and Deschamps. I promise you. They don't.
Now I don't know if things will work out or not. But the worst thing we can do is ship our best midfielder out because he has been struggling. Especially since our other midfielders aren't really that good.

that's a bold statement but i'm sure you thought it through before typing it and sending your post. so please elaborate.
I don't think it's bold. Now I agree with everybody else that Rabiot hasn't been great. He has struggled a lot. Especially when Arthur plays. He really struggles to play in the pocket as he has been asked to do for large part of the season. Or as a mezzala. For fucks sake, he's been playing on the left wing for large part of the season. He's not that type of player. There's no coincidence that his performance against Inter happened without Arthur being there. The way I see it is his gravity on the pitch is much greater than Locatelli's. Who I think has struggled more than Rabiot. I was expecting a lot more from Locatelli than what he has offered.
But it's difficult. This is my perspective. Locatelli has done things mostly right. But it hasn't been great.
Rabiot has been doing a lot of things wrong. But some things great.
Having said that. I'm not gonna be a hypocrite and burn Locatelli. This is his first year and I'll reserve judgement until later. I'm a supporter.
Allegri has job to do creating a team around both Locatelli and Rabiot. And I have a feeling it's gonna work in the end.
Again. One thing is for sure. It would be a huge mistake to sell Rabiot.
