One game doesn't change a lifetime of mediocre performances. Good for him - he put in ONE solid shift. Must be fucked off and shipped elsewhere come June/July.

Don't know why he played sooo much better for this one game. He was doing.things I thought he wasn't capable of. Looked like a completely different player. Not particularly creative but he imposed himself on Inter's mids. We basically controlled most of the game thanks to him.
this must be the most frustrating and infuriating video that has anything to do with the inda match, and we had a scandalous ref, two shots that hit the bar, plus some brutal inda fouls too.

"...former France fullback Eric Di Meco said: 'Some players eliminated themselves, I’m thinking of Adrien Rabiot, who I like a lot and could see in this squad, but the problem is that he does not want to play holding midfielder, and the last few times that he was in the France squad he was moody...'" https://punditarena.com/football/smcmahon/deschamps-slams-adrien-rabiot-ruling-world-cup/
we need both actually. it's easier to attack when you tackle at midfield. see vidal's effect on juve's game plan. we don't have a reliable tackle machine since he left.

It is a two-way street. When he does tackle like that opponents would try to play through the zones of his partners or change tactics all together. Either way then he would have the opportunity to attack more and show us why he deserves to be a B2B midfielder. His offensive game is not that good either, so its only right that he rolls up his sleeves and put more into his defensive contribution. In any winning professional team thats the way to earn your minutes and the will of the coach must be final. If he needs you to be a goalkeeper - you go and try to do your best. Evaluations are made in the end of the season by both sides. Want to be a forvet? No problemo - just find yourself another club with some cash.
Obviously Rabiot is not that player. Rabiot should be the defensive holding midfielder, he never should have been the LW or B2B player. More importantly, he should fuck off ASAP.
