From what I saw, which wasnt a lot, he looked good when played in that regista role...once played in other midfield roles he never looked as good. But he was young, full of potential...any poor performances related to him being young..or that was the excuse anyway.

I still don't understand why he gets as many opportunities not only for us but for his country.
What im surprised is how This management fucked up signing after digning in a small period of time.

We are the only big team buying This trash players

Yeah, the freebies on high salaries didn't turn out great. Although I must admit I thought rabiot would grow at our club and turn out to be a very good midfielder. We all have PhDs in hindsight right?

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in the strategy meeting at HQ.

yeah, when Rabiot was brought eveyrone was saying its a 10/10 the only concern was the mother agent. Now it appears we didnt do a proper scouting when it comes to the mental characteristics. This guy has all the skills to play as a defensive minded CM but he is never intersted in that. Give him brain of Padoin and u have one of the best midfielders of generation.

Start Pellegrini
Release Rabiot.

Maybe even try Pellegrini as LCM or LM

I think most did. You look at him and see raw attributes you’d love to have in a player. Then he just doesn’t develop and you see over time how weak his mentality and application is.

Wouldn’t overly criticise going for him and it’s easy to target in hindsight as you say.
Ramsey on the hand….

in the end, you can get one wrong, maybe 2 in the lapse of some years.... but to sign trash of this level on high salaries, one after another, is being inept.
The disprity in this team is beyond proffesional levels. what theu were doing?
We are just fans, but they are supposedly pros in what they do and have the enviroment and the funds to make at the very least aceptable decitions. It has nothing to do with hindsight

he sucks but we already pretty thin in squad numbers.

no dybala
no chiellini
no rugani
no rabiot
no chiesa

missing 5 players at same time is a worrying sign
