QPR hit by Adel Taarabt 'walkout’ after 6-0 demolition at Fulham

QPR manager Neil Warnock last night refused to comment on reports Adel Taarabt stormed out of Craven Cottage after being replaced at half-time during a humiliating defeat to Fulham.

Andy Johnson’s hat-trick, a penalty from Danny Murphy and efforts from Clint Dempsey and Bobby Zamora took the hosts to their first Premier League win of the season in emphatic fashion.
But when asked about the incident with the temperamental Taarabt, Warnock said: 'That’s not my problem at the moment. I have no idea [whether he left].
'I’ve more worries than any individual when you lose 6-0.’
He added: 'I don’t think you can blame Adel Taarabt today.
'If I’m honest, if we had Darren Bent playing for us today, and a few England players, we’d have still been beaten 6-0.
'You’re going to get days when he throws his toys out the pram but that isn’t a worry for me.’
Fulham boss Martin Jol was delighted by his team’s performance, especially with Johnson, who followed up his two Europa League goals at Odense in midweek with another three yesterday.
Talks over a new deal for Johnson are ongoing and Jol said: 'Other people are doing the negotiations. But I feel Andy and Fulham is a good combination.’
The Dutchman also played down reports of a training ground bust-up with striker Zamora last week, adding: 'Bobby is okay. He is a sensitive person.’

There's people talking stupid things about a guy they've never seen play.

Of course the fact he's Brazilian helps, but the kid is a fucking beast. 18 yrs old, and he is able to take the responsibility of being the main Brazilian player of the moment, the best country in football history so far. And 3 yrs to host a WC here. The pressure is absolutely huge, he is the present and the future, with no reference on the NT right now (Ronaldinho will never be entirely back). And you know what? The kid can take it.

13 games for the NT team, 7 goals, by far the best player in those games. It's rare to see him play bad.

If he's going to be like Messi or Ronaldo, i don't know. But he's going to be a legend.
