So basically? woman cant have sex unless they want children, but its okay for a man, because that is what it sounds like.
Stop misintepreting me Nicole. Of course women can have sex if they choose to. That's why there's free will. What I am saying is if you get so carried away so as not to use a condom or some form of birth control (my 1 quarrel with the Church), then you should be able to accept the consequences.

And if it fails, because it can. So, your saying they should ruin their lives because of a mistake? or simply because a condom split?

 Then birth control pills haven't run out of supply. The point is this... once the little bugger has begun to grow inside you, don't kill him!

I am strongly in favour of abortion. If a woman wants to have an abortion it is her choice. If the future child will be brought up in circumstances where the kid is not wanted or the parents simply could not possibly take care of a child due to poverty or various other issues, it is unfair to the child.

Also, should the featus be a result of a rape, are you seriously going to say that a woman should have that child?A child that would often be hated and have a poor standard of life!if you agree that an abortion should be allowed in this case and not another then you are deeply hypocritical as how can it be "murder" in one case and not another, when in both cases the child is unwanted.

Fact is most teenages arent thinking about these, what do you expect? I doubt you were like this when you were a teenager chxta. You have to allow people to make their own mistakes, but those mistakes shouldnt ruin their lives.

When I was a teenager? :sigh:

People should be told the potential of such mistakes before they make them, and when they make them, they kive with them.

Abortion is one of those easy ways out of problems. And when people get used to finding the easy way out all the time, they,... well they get used to finding the easy way out. And that is not how life is.

So? chxta please, your an intelligent guy, you can tell someone something a million times and it wont mean a thing, people learn by doing, and they learn from mistakes that way.

Like the kid has a conscious anyway. I doubt an embryo is more worthwile than an everyday bug. If you don't want a child, the embryo means nothing. All an embryo stands for is child that is going to be born. If you don't want the child it's useless. It's completely different than killing a human being.

for those against abortion, Think what you will do if you're in that position, get raped or lived in harsh country where premarriage born child and mother are strictly punished.
You can talk with all that glorified bull shit about small life cause it doesn't happen on you.
I'd rather the child died in peace rather than being born and get harsh treatment by lots of people.

@ Nicole, you make a lot of sense, speaking with your head.

@Acies, you make no sense at all.

I heard in India (apologises if I am wrong) that baby girls are abandoned along with their mothers alot of the time, cause they are more expensive to go after then baby boys, so wont it be better to have an abortion or risk being abandoned by your family, how long do people think those kids survive?

With all due respect Dom, that's so far from being relevant that I had to double-check the thread title
