Wow Rebel, wow.

Except the last one, the other sentences just show how much you know about Islam.
And do you know what your post exactly shows? It just shows how you lose your literally "everything" when you only feel that someone is insulting Islam.

I was born as a Muslim, I lived many years as a Muslim, all my relatives and friends are Muslims, I practiced Islam as my religion for many years. When I was a Muslim, I used to eat meat whenever I wanted. I saw Muslims who were all free to get a divorce. I didn't believe that fire is the creator of all beings. In the Islamic environment I was living there were places for blood donors. You see, I know enough things not to make such a statement about Islam. That was simply some stuff I find stupid. How did you conclude that I meant Islam?

Just read the two lines you wrote before these things. You were talking about Islam and not about religions in general.

I was telling Rab how I might find some stuff ridiculous and absurd (by bringing examples) and how I don't need to bring reasons to say why I find them stupid.

Life is silly, Ian. Everybody of us is prone to die soon. No? That doesn't give us any area to claim that we are the superior masters on Earth because we can not know the most important issue we are facing, which is how long will we live? People knew since ages that because we are so weak that can not control our own ages and lives, then there is somebody who can. This somebody has to be much greater than all of us, because as scientists proved, the world is ruled by very accurate measures like the seasons, and they proved that any small change would make a very huge problem that threatens the whole humanity.

I know Chance maybe your explanation for our existence, but seeing how life goes on perfectly around me, I beg to differ and I'm totally convinced there is somebody greater than mere chance who controls our environments.
Okay, I don't agree that a lack of understanding of some things necessitates an "god", but if that works for you then so be it. Even if you believe in a "god" what possible rationale could there be for following someone else's interpretation of what that is, what that means, and how you should or shouldn't act?

Well, for us, Prophet Mohammad had many miracles that supported the idea that he was not a normal guy, so, we followed his orders which were confirmed to be not contradicting with any scientific facts later.

Okay, so what? So, some guy, way back in the day did somethings and said somethings about something you choose to believe in. I could see, maybe listening to that guy, himself, but why conform your life to other peoples idea of something that has no direct relation to yourself?

Don't you find it disturbing to follow the orders of a dude who was fuckin 9 years old girls?
Dude, you lack historical perspective.

However, my response would be that anyone should find it disturbing to follow anyone's orders without some kind of evidence to support its righteousness...

If Mohammed was a prophey how come he denounce pigs, pigs aren't unclean therefore he made that up, if he made one thing up....
It's misdirection. "Guys, check out this trick.. tadaaa!" "See that? I totally made it disappear." "And now you have to do whatever I tell you."

This, i believe to be an actual pragmatic device. Pigs have a history of communicating diseases to humans. Perhaps, in the time of "the Prophet" such a scourge existed. Jews have many similar prohibition and customs which throughout history have proven to be very profitable to their people.
