I'm going to choose players that fit together as a team instead of the best individuals in each position.

-------------Fabregas----Essien---

---C.Ronaldo-----------------Ribery

------------Messi-------Amauri

4-3-3

----------------Mascherrano

-----------Xavi-----------Gerrard

-----Messi----------------------------C.Ronaldo

you'd pick Amauri ahead of Torres/Villa/Camel in the 4-4-2?

Yes, i'm not saying he's better than Torres, Villa, Drogba, Eto'o or Ibrahimovic. But i do think that a modern striker like Amauri, who is strong, good in the air and decent with the ball at his feet, would be more fitting to play alongside artists like Messi, C.Ronaldo, Fabregas and Ribery. You're going to need someone who works his socks off.

Bendtner is better than most folk give him credit for.

He just isn't cut out to play in a team that plays fast flowing football like Arsenal.

I have to admit I don't watch much outside of Serie A and even this year I haven't seen as much as I would like, so my side might be a little outdated.

Buffon
Maicon--Vidic--Chiellini--Evra
De Rossi--Essien
Xavi
Messi---------------------Ribery
Villa
