drugs only exist as a plural in english I think? in french we also use the singular form, it depends onwho you use it. ex: La drogue, c'est mal / drugs are bad. L'héroïne est une drogue. Heroin is drugs (can you say Heroin is a drug? sounds weird?). Le cannabis et le crack sont des drogues. / Cannabis and crack are drugs.
