A couple things about reps (11 Viewers)

Dear Marty,

After some users have received a lot of nonsense negative rep, I think that a way to fix this is that every user should be able to see who's given them good/bad rep. That way users will think twice when giving out (bad) reps.
Also, we should be able to see every rep we've received, not just the last five.

Please take this into consideration

Another alternative that I proposed to Marty on this... it sort of follows the Chris Rock model of how to cut down on shootings by charging $5,000 a bullet for the ammunition.

If we allow anonymous rep votes, allow users to only make a few rep votes per week, max. Positive or negative. This way they would have to ration them out. Right now they are just a gratuitous, limitless resource with no economy behind them. So people do stupid things with them without consequence.

Just ignore the whole rep thing, it doesnt mean anything. Fabi has a point though, some people give out really crappy points.

Jus hyappened, the other day i was making some profile changes and saw the amounts my overal points changed when 2 different people repped the same post
