Can someone pull up his season stats vs the guy he "replaced"
Doesn't matter the stats, we can all see the impact Di Maria is having. The last player who had an impact like this was another Argie, and it certainly wasn't Dybala of the last 4 years.

He's just monstrous and still, at his age, one of the most impactful players in Europe.

Scary to think he isn't even in his prime. Absolute gun and has been for a very long time.

Why must we compare and shit on past players? Dybala was a star!

Di Maria: Goal or Assist every 79 minutes

Dybala: Goal or assist every 90 minutes
both are excellent to be honest

now i'm happy with di maria, the way he plays since the world cup is impeccable, regardless of his age, salary or status. night and day compared to his form in october-november. and dybala would miss half of the season anyway

All doubt would be swept away on #DiMaría: #Juventus would be ready to renew the contract even at the cost of having to make other sacrifices. The negotiation would start soon and the conditions are good. Even the family of el Fideo would vote to stay another year in Turin.

You guys think CL might be the deciding factor, i mean of barca comes knocking and we aint got no CL really doubt we can keep him.
I honestly don't think so. He's only going to be in Europe for another year max anyway, so I would assume he'd happily stay here instead of moving back to Spain only to relocate to Argentina again a year later. He's won everything there is to win at both club and international level, so I think he just wants to stay fit and relevant for the Copa in 2024, after which he will go back to Argentina and play for Rosario for a couple of years.

I think his role here entices him. He's the focal point and doesn't even have to run the wings anymore.
If you're at such a technical high level, the undisputed star of a historical team like Juve and you have a free role to just get possession and do satisfying through balls, lobbed passes and curved finishes I can see how it'd be a good gig, even for somebody who's won it all and has nothing to prove.

Hope he keeps up this form since the world cup he's just so good to watch. Clearly loving it

Hugely depends on his family i think. If they like it in Turin they stay.
He's playing like a man who seems settled. I think his family love it.

Plus have you seen Turin? It's stunning
