His goal against Leicester remains one of the greatest goals I’ve ever seen live.

It’s obvious what he offers, clearly just a question of the numbers. As long he doesn’t upset the new structure by getting more than Vlahovic, I’d be happy.

Situation #DiMaria is the following: to sign only annually, #Juventus proposes € 5.5M + bonus (cannot take advantage of the Growth Decree), otherwise two years from € 7M net. El Fideo is currently firm on the position of signing only one annual. New summit in the next few days

Really hope that the deal goes through and that we are doing everything possible to make it happen as any other alternative compared to the level that Di Maria is playing atm would be a significant downgrade… especially when it comes to no transfer fee involved and immediate quality boost on the team.

Just give him what he wants ffs

Lowballing Di Maria while we just survived years of Berna
The reason we are in this position today is because we have been throwing around money without thinking twice. I understand the hesitation. Wouldn't you say 14/15m gross is a pretty substantial amount of wages for 1 year? He will literally make the same amount and save the club money if he signs for 2 years.

I am sure we will find an agreement at some point, but I like the fact that we don't just agree to his demands without doing the recalculations twice/thrice.

Don’t lie, I always wanted Di Maria. I said Acerbi was to old, and that both Perisic and Di Maria didn’t make sense, but I wanted Di Maria and not Perisic
I’m not lying, just misremembering I guess. I just distinctly remember you bemoaning signing two old wingers instead of a young guy. I guess I’m remembering wrong. :boh:

Ángel #DiMaría who would strongly like to live an experience with #Juventus, is taking into consideration the inclusion of a unilateral renewal (in his favor) of a 2nd yr by the end of the 1st one. This option doesn't go in line with the expectations of the bianconero club, who would like to take advantage of the Growth Bill which would require at least a 2-yr contract (and not a contract of 1+1).

Yes I was against Perisic, not against Di Maria. So rather Di Maria and another winger instead of two old freebies and facing the same problems we're facing now after one or two years. I prefer Di Maria and Zaniolo

So basically he wants to use us to stay sharp for the World Cup and then fuck off after a year. But we need him to sign for 2 years to take advantage of the growth decree.

This doesn't sound ideal but then again, we played with Bernardeschi.

in the end he'll probably agree to 2 years. oldies often go play for a small club before retiring and then realize that they're not ready to ride off into the sunset yet. he should just talk to Zlatan or Dani Alves on what made them come back to the big leagues.

just sign the fucker for one year ffs

Can we cheat the tax law by signing a two year contract and then both parties terminating the contract by mutual consent a year from now?
