bit better quality: great clearance. he barely entered the box when the attacker headed the ball towards the goal. they won their match 2-1, so one could argue blaise might have just saved two points here. he can still be useful in a lesser league.

that's not how it works. salary has nothing to do with plusvalenza and book value. capital gains or losses are tied to the difference between the assets' value and the eventual sale price. if you release a player for free, the book value automatically becomes capital loss.

that's a fair point: if you have a 4m book value, you can spread it on two years in amortization. it makes sense if you sell the player above book value, or keep it until his contract runs out. but if you release a player before his contract expires, his book value automatically becomes...

bravo fabio, an other minusvalenza he really needs someone to oversee his activity

tevez most certainly pushed for a transfer, and even in that case, it wasn't a good deal. we should have milked boca, and now we're paying them 2m/seasons for a player we theoretically own.

we might have negotiated those players at the same time, but those were separate deals and separate contracts. and i just thought about it, tevez left for a transfer fee on paper (which was never paid because of the counterparts), so that wasn't technically a minusvalenza either.

yeah probably, but why shoot ourselves in the foot on the same accounting terms half a year later then. 2-3m aren't a huge thing, but we saved less with the extension, so it would have been better just to let his contract run out if the intention never was to keep him anyway. i do think we...

it was well below 4m even half year ago. marotta rarely let any player go for minusvalenza. tevez comes to my mind as a rare example. after 2 summers in charge, fabio will already beat that (mandzu, blaise).

happy for our best midfielder :touched: joking aside, he had a terrible game. completely off form, he should only get minutes. since rabiot found some form, it's night and day between them. that 3 vs 1 counter he screwed up was one of our best chances, i really hope he picks an other solution...

different players, different skills i guess? look at cancelo, brilliant on the ball, fast, can take on anyone, but a lazy, unpredictable idiot with probably shorter attention span than my 5-year-old kid. at least blaise is reliable, physical, disciplined and hard working. no accident he's been a...

    Blaise Matuidi

yes, he did actually. blaise is none of my worries. i'm more concerned about rabiot, pjanic and berna. happy to see them being consistent, although they should find some kind of consistency on the other end of the scale. at least berna showed some signs of life vs bologna.
