I feel sorry for the people in Qatar. So they just got to know that they're hosting the World Cup and now..well, they have to wait for 12 years. Thats fucked up. Thats like having a trip booked that you're so excited about buts its 12 years from now.

Aren't they going to play the games pretty late to avoid the crazy heat? And also, I don't know if I remember this correctly but I think they'll have some kind of solution for the heat in the stadium.

Same thing was said about the South Africans and they showed up. Different or not, there is about 40 million people in the Gulf and I think those are the people that will show up, and probably people from other Arab countries as well. Yeah, the heat on the other hand, thats fucked up.

Arab people love football, haven't you seen how many Arab people we have on this forum? Don't worry about that, football is big enough over there. People showed up in Japan and South Korea and they will probably show up in Qatar as well.

Are you serious? The stadiums will never be empty and rich Arabs from all over the gulf will fill those stadiums up.

Why are people annoyed and what makes a country better than the other? As long as its good stadiums and people show up to fill those stadiums I have no problems in it ending up in Russia and Qatar.

Cool choices, why not? Russia is one of the big countries who still haven't hosted yet while Qatar's bid was very impressive and their stadiums will be pretty damn cool. I was hoping for Australia but I guess now I won't have to watch the games early in the morning.
