[CL] Manchester City - Juventus (September 15, 2015)

Not too lucky though. Everyone admitted that ManCity goal clearly should have been disallowed. The English commentators, Pellegrini, everyone. Clear foul. So I'd say we were unlucky. We know Buffon is a great keeper who will make a couple of those saves when called upon. That's why we have him...

I gave it a 5 too. And to be honest, I'm going to wait to the end of the group stage to decide just how good this team can be.

Better in first half, but we absolutely smashed them in the 2nd half, aside from their goal which was a clear foul and shouldn't have counted.

What do you think of playing Morata out wide like that? He always did fairly well in that position while at Madrid, but not spectacularly. I seem to recall his first Classico he was MotM playing as a LWF.

He definitely made a lot of mistakes. But he looked much more engaged in the match, like his head was there and not somewhere else, which is what he looks like in Serie A so far. I like that he did the knee slide beside Morata after his goal. It was great.

And this why I still think we could have held off Barca if we had been given that penalty on Pogba.

I think Pogba needed this. He looks disengaged in Serie A so far this year. CL is just the stage to get him motivated again. He looked his head was so much more into the game tonight then in Serie A thus far.

We're such a European team now. It's so funny to see the contrast between this team and the Conte era teams. We're built like a European team, although we may have to suffer some of the consequences of that in Serie A. We shall see. But I love this team so much! Grazie to the whole team!

:agree: Dybala, is not a LWF. He can play RWF (he has done it before), as it allows him to cut in and shoot with his left foot. But Cuadrado is the superior player in that role. And Morata is by far the best option we have at LWF as he played there many times for Real Madrid, and their B league...
