  1. Serie A 2017/18

Cancelo can't and doesn't want to defend. Poor mentality and poor composure for a player that is supposed to be a defender. Allegri wouldn't even play him. He'd get 10 minutes in a attack and that's it.
  2. Serie A 2017/18

There has been so much rotation this year its hard to complain. The CB rotation has been spot on. Chiellini is our rock so he plays the most. When Benatia sucked Rugani was our starter, when he earned his time he played again. Barzagli has the least time as it makes sense in his age.
  3. Serie A 2017/18

Do we still own Romagna? is it one of those where "don't" have a clause but we actually do? He's had some good games for Cagliari, he plays a lot. Another season or two and we can see how good he is.
  4. Serie A 2017/18

Its exclusively because of Madrid and Barca playing each other twice a year. Without having numbers, I imagine no other league game in any league comes close to that one in tv watchers. I doubt there is much more appeal in international viewers for Sevilla-Betis vs Milan-Sampdoria. Its the...
  5. Serie A 2017/18

In any case it makes sense. total, per season La Liga gets 2b Serie A 1.42b Bundesliga 1.31b It is a reasonable relation between these leagues. They may just look bad because of how much the english league brings, that's a whole different story over there. They have no competition in money...
  6. Serie A 2017/18

Its doesn't really matter but where is the source for that. Most i find say 4.64b for bundesliga over 4 seasons. So 1.16 per season. Here is from financial times https://www.ft.com/content/851559f4-2e29-11e6-bf8d-26294ad519fc
  7. Serie A 2017/18

He is right though, Spalletti is always honest. Inter would compete with our bench. No chance against our full squad. Marchisio, Bernardeschi, Costa, Rugani, Barzagli, Szczesny, Matuidi would be stars at Inter.
  8. Serie A 2017/18

Mertens will miss it and Milinkovic will be back. The main problem with Lazio was tiredness. They got penalized by having that double header against Milan. Hopefully it carries through to the Napoli game.
  9. Serie A 2017/18

To everyone arguing about tv deals. This new agreement is about the domestic rights. Its for the broadcast in Italy, not abroad. I'm not sure if they numbers you guys are quoting for other leagues are international or domestic. It just seemed like there was some confusion. - - - Updated - - -...
  10. Serie A 2017/18

Its unbelievable that a comment about commending Roma's strong mentality is true, but it is. EDF really changed this team it seems. Classic Roma would have been smashed in london and then lost again to Chelsea in Rome. They rotate as much as we do and still get results. This is key imo. Their...
  11. Serie A 2017/18

Not out yet, if they win the last 2 games (Shaktar at home and Feyenoord) and City beats Shaktar, they qualify. It would be good for us if they stay in CL. Their depth gets spread thinner.
  12. Serie A 2017/18

Another big one for me is Udinese at just 21m. Only Crotone and Benevento have less.
  13. Serie A 2017/18

He was playing poorly in the times of Garcia and was benched at times, ironically when he was earning the most. Then he came back really strong with Spalletti and as one of the best at Roma for sure, always a starter and a leader then, when he took the paycut. The MLS move was because if he left...
  14. Serie A 2017/18

Yeah, he took a big cut in his last renewal to stay at Roma. It was 6.5m before.
  15. Serie A 2017/18

How is that all in 99? He debuted in 95 and was a starter by 96. 2nd place in Serie a in 97. UCL in 97. Went to the WC in 98. - - - Updated - - - Like the other poster said, 177 apps in the 90s
  16. Serie A 2017/18

Come on, of course he did. He started in 95 and was a starter since 96. He was part of that great Parma. He had already played CL and won the UEFA cup. competing for the scudetto. Winning the supercoppa. He was a full international, went to a world cup and bcame 1st choice for Italy. All in the...
  17. Serie A 2017/18

Buffon is still playing! he will be the last one to go.
  18. Serie A 2017/18

I doubt EDF will play a 3 man defense, he is known for his 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 and Roma mostly played that as well. With the current links, it will probably be something like this El Shaarawy - Dzeko - Berardi Strootman - De Rossi - Nainggolan Emerson - Fazio - Rudiger - Karsdorp Pellegrini in if...
