    [Serie A] Genoa 2-2 JUVENTUS Sep 24th 2009 - 5th round

Two goals conceded doesnt coincide with best match to me. Liked our counters though.

He's always present in the build-up play, his passes are accurate and his movement is good. He looked poor for the first goal, but he does some decent tackles as well. Grosso is a player that makes things happen.

One more note; Marchisio and Giovinco two opposite poles of what confidence does to a player.

Grosso's freekicks were excellent today. The way he picked out Chiellini for the goal. Poulsen's first half was decent at at least. He blocked several attacks and he put the pressure on early. He's got his reputation against him.

What's with the Poulsen and Grosso hate, desperate search for spacegoats?

I really liked our first half though, if we were a bit more clinical, confident and a little bit smarter in our counters we could've killed them in the first half. I suppose a Diego instead of Amauri for example would've made a world of difference.

    [Serie A] Genoa 2-2 JUVENTUS Sep 24th 2009 - 5th round

Kind of torn how to rate this match. We played well in patches and I liked our counter-attacks, if only we were more clinical. Genoa are strong at home and we battled well, but I think Ferrara was a little too reactive. I felt we were unlucky with the end result due to some dubious decisions...

I agree, but at least he's on he pitch(unlike a certain ballerina) and he never does a foolish thing. He has a solid style. De Ceglie is much more of a gamble right now anyway.

Poulsen's much more useful than most make him out to be though.

    [Serie A] Genoa 2-2 JUVENTUS Sep 24th 2009 - 5th round

Time for Iaquinta and Amauri to work those crosses. I'm curious to see if De Ceglie and Grosso can combine and interchange well, their movements might conflict. Melo should have more freedom in the middle in this formation, but I think Ferrara could've taken the risk of Giovinco on the left of...

    [Serie A] Genoa 2-2 JUVENTUS Sep 24th 2009 - 5th round

I like Jack formation's the best. Strong midfield with dynamic players upfront to hit Genoa on the break. Tough players to win the ball and offensive players capable of hurting Genoa on the counter. Can always remove one of the midfielders for a forward mid-game if we need to attack...

    [Serie A] Genoa 2-2 JUVENTUS Sep 24th 2009 - 5th round

Toughest match so far, but some players are supposed to return. Marchisio and Camo looked like they found their footing in the new formation, which is promising. Biggest problem is whom to field next to Iaquinta upfront. DP won't make the game probably and hasn't played for ages anyway, Amauri...
