I find it dodgy that a guy like Yaya Toure would be upset that his birthday wasn't celebrated. also the agent mentions Yaya be willing to take a wage cut if it means he can return to Barcelona, which is irrelevant information if he's just complaining about ManCity not celebrating his client's...
Apparently Yaya Toure is unhappy at ManCity.
Seluk (Yaya's agent): "They don't know that money can't buy relationships – no Sheikh can buy a relationship. This isn't about money or a new contract – it's about human relationships and City have shown they don't respect him. I repeat, this is...
BBC published TV revenue for Premier League clubs for 2013-14.
http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27411682
Considerable increase in TV revenue for EPL clubs. Liverpool for instance got £42.7m (€52m) more in TV money during 13/14 than they got in 12/13 season, next year they will have CL...
I was actually wondering why, went through Juve's past CL results and think it might be Juve's away performance. Barring 96/97 Juve lost atleast 2-3 away matches every season and depended on home games too much to go far in CL. Finals are always away from home, so may be that's why??
not the valuation, their transfer fee. like €0 for Pogba and Pirlo, €6m for Kalas in summer 2010, Buffon's transfer fee from Parma to Juve in 2001, I am not including agent fees or conditional payment like in Tevez's contract.
by transfermarkt transfer fee numbers, Chelsea's team(€142m) against Liverpool today was more expensive than Juve's starting 11 (€137) against Benfica . that's including everybody, for instance Lampard (€16m) and Buffon (€54m).
hmm true. if they had Agger probably Gerard wouldn't have had to go that deep to bring the ball out of defence either, so makes sense that they missed Agger.
Liverpool need to win all their matches and hope Everton take points from City.
D.Agger is their ball playing defender their Bonucci, Skrtel is their best defender.
they tried it before, didn't work. their defence is weak and makes mistakes no matter who they play or what formation, they have to out-score opponents.
if ManCity win their remaining matches they will be just 3 points behind Liverpool with a better goal difference, so any loss for Liverpool (against Chelsea esp.) could give ManCity the title, the race is still alive.
Liverpool-Chelsea match is the weekend between Chelsea's CL semifinal matches against Atletico Madrid, so Liverpool are in a relatively better situation for their must-win match.
for league yes for both again yes, but if you pay €15m of a backup CB and another €15m for backup WB then you have to settle for Llorente as a lead 1st team striker which is the most decisive position in attack. I can't remember any other top team pay that much for backup/bench players.
