Wasn't aware of Evra having been in their system in any meaningful way.

What Are You Doing Right Now?

I recall getting funny looks from folk as I bounced around outside the Holocaust museum in Washington. I don't know if explaining to them that news had just come through of a late winner for Aberdeen at Motherwell would have improved the situation or not.

In theory Conte could coach another team this season, though I'm not entirely sure when the cut-off is in general. Donadoni, for instance, was sacked by Cagliari during pre-season before the 11/12 season. He was then appointed by Parma halfway through that season. I guess the block only...

    [ITA] Serie A 2014/2015

I'm not entirely sure of the point he's making. In the UK the work-permit system means you have to demonstrate a non-EU player is up to a certain standard before they can be signed. In Italy there isn't that restriction. Still not sure why that is a particular problem in Tavecchio's opinion.

Juve may yet get their way and have Albertini appointed... Tavecchio under fire for racist gaffe “In England they identify the players coming in and, if they are professional, they are allowed to play. “Instead, here we say that any old Opti Pobà can come here, before he was eating bananas...

Excellent. Get Griezmann out of Real Sociedad before we play them.

    Massimiliano Allegri

:boh: Signings are okay so far. Allegri is a solid coach who's generally got his team to perform to an appropriate level. I'm still wondering if Allegri is viewed as a long-term appointment or if he is a glorified caretaker. I'll probably firm up on that opinion by the end of the mercato...

Just the two most progressive clubs... You wonder if such a decision to just to delay making actual change for a while. Rather like when an old Pope is elected instead of a potential reformer.

    Antonio Conte

I can't see it happening this summer. It wouldn't surprise me if the journalists are half right in their story and there has been contact between PSG and Conte over him possibly replacing Blanc mid-season or next summer.

Wishlist and General Juve mercato talk (2014-15)

"We have four number 10s, so it is not balanced in my eyes," said Van Gaal. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28460394 Not entirely sure who the fourth is, after Rooney, Mata and Kagawa (Powell?), but one would still imagine there will be a trequartista available from Man Utd. Would folk...
