Wishlist and General Juve mercato talk (2014-15)

I believe he actually made that comment about Marchisio in the context of him being the main back-up to Pirlo.

What Are You Doing Right Now?

Has anyone here been to Tallinn? Do we have any Estonian posters? I'm contemplating a trip.

    [ITA] Serie A 2014/2015

It was actually about double that when you factor in the two kids that went to Udinese.

Wishlist and General Juve mercato talk (2014-15)

Laudisa was correct about pretty much everything Juve related last summer. He's been utterly hopeless this year, though.

    Arturo Vidal

Vidal must be leaving because Allegri disallowed a goal he scored during a training match. http://www.calciomercato.com/news/vidal-torna-al-gol-ma-allegri-dice-no-conto-alla-rovescia-manche-267035

What Are You Doing Right Now?

Had to skip the first four holes in my round of golf today because Haliburton were taking over the course for the afternoon. :disagree:

    [ITA] Serie A 2014/2015

Aberdeen have sold more season tickets than half of the Serie A clubs (~9,500-10,000). Not bad considering how much more expensive our tickets are than standard ones in Italy.

Does it ever? Still, it's terrible how victimised Celtic are and how the whole world is out to get them. They never get anything in their favour from referees or UEFA or anything.

    Luisão - CB - Benfica

I never thought much of Lucio. He was also very different in that he was a player who had relied hugely on pace through his career, so it was no surprise he struggled to adjust when he lost that pace. Luisao has never been reliant on pace.

Sure, but I don't think he should be taking the job if he's not going to properly commit to it.

    [ENG] Premier League 2014/2015

Pack it full of explosives. That's the rationale behind some new screening measures at airports and Man Utd seem to have decided that was a good reason to ban them.

    Luisão - CB - Benfica

Luisao is still a good player. You'd have to be careful about how you set the team up to play so as to not leave his lack of pace exposed.

    Antonio Conte

Gazzetta saying 3.6m per year, which is rather more believable than the 5m that was previously mentioned. Interesting that the contract is going to be for two years rather than four. Don't really see the point in becoming Italy manager unless you plan to go to a World Cup.

    [GER] Bundesliga 2014/2015

Looking purely at the 'revolutionary' bit, as I'm not really interested in getting into a debate about how good a coach Guardiola is: I don't think he's done anything significant enough to be considered revolutionary. He's altered things a little, but everything he has done, that I can think...
