It is. But no one should be surprised. Giuntoli has done exactly 0 classy things in his time at JJ.

Short term, I think he'll do pretty well. And hiring him does seem like the sensible thing to do. So, naturally, Giuntoli most likely had nothing to do with it.

I'm not sure about that. He's stubborn, refuses to field the best or most in form players & can't get the best out of his team (not even close). He's also a terrible communicator who seems to lack tactical knowledge. Hmm, come to think of it, he would be a perfect successor to Motta.

As bad as he has been, I don't even think he's the worst signing of the season. He might not even make top 3 ffs. :grin:

An additional problem is that, while Fagioli is not good enough, he's still a cheap player to have on your roster. Douglas Luiz isn't good enough either, he's just a lot more expensive. Huijsen, De Winter or Dragusin maybe weren't good enough for us (yet) either, but we spend A LOT of money to...

If we don't want players from "dead footballing countries", I guess we shouldn't sign Americans either. :grin:

Time for a small update: Motta is actually worse than Zaccheroni. Now, I wasn't that keen on Motta to begin with, but even I did not see that coming. Unbelievable.

I don't, obviously. But I *think* the American economy is going to suffer for a while. So, for me, there's no point in holding on to it. I made a nice enough profit over the years. Like I said, at some point I'll go back in (when things improve again). But for now: MAPA! Make America Poor Again.

At 67 years old, he's probably the most "modern" or progressive Italian coach right now. If you look at Sunday's game without knowing anything about the team's coaches, you'd think ours was a 90 year old relic from the past.

If you're talking about cost per goal, there is at least 1 CF who was far more expensive for us.

Why would anyone even say such a thing? The very least he could do would be owning up to his mistakes. But even that is too much to ask for, apparently.
