    tardelli leaves cda.

From my outside perspective, it sounds like Tardelli signed up for the Juve board thinking he will turn this club around overnight and gain enough influence in the football community and make the world a better place... you know, typical dreamer stuff. The fact of the matter is that the...

Juve: In the Argentinian festival checking Riquelme

No thanks to Riquelme, I used to consider him world-class and extremely underrated but since he's had his chance to shine, he's showed he is either not able to play for a team with great expectations on him or that he's simply not willing to work hard enough to achieve anything. It's too bad...

    Van der Vaart

I feel like just completely ignoring this rumour altogether. It's one of those "sounds too good to be true" rumours that you know has about .001% chance of actually coming true. That said though, if VDV is announced by the team this summer, I'll cream my pants. He would be an instant...

So we agree 100% then :D Now get to work Secco!

Point taken. But it's still too early to say the board will drag these negotiations out throughout the entire off-season when the transfer window has yet to officially open yet. I'm still hoping we'll be able to confirm at least three or four signings within the next couple of weeks.

Mercato news 2011 (updated infrequently/when we can be arsed)

Of course they must learn to play together and get a feel for each other... but that's what training camp and friendlies are for. I would rather go into the first week of the season with 6 new players and added depth than the squad we currently have. Plus it's likely Camo and Trez are leaving...

The Gaby Milito to Juve saga

Although I agree.... To be fair to the board, the Spanish season isn't over yet and teams over there often frown upon confirming departures before the season is up. That might be a reason why only the agent is talking about the move and not the clubs?

The Gaby Milito to Juve saga

I'm cautiously optimistic, but I know better than to ever get my hopes up. If it turns out he doesn't sign with us, I'll be disappointed but not shocked. I am encouraged by everything I've been reading however, the signs are positive.

The Gaby Milito to Juve saga

I know, but his agent says it's done and will be official next week, so I'm trying to roll out the welcome mat for him early.

Then drop Iaquinta to the bench and put on a DM (Muvuba?) behind Almiron :agree: But it's all going to depend on the style Raneiri wants to employ. I can see him experimenting with the formation until he gets something he's happy with.

The Gaby Milito to Juve saga

Welcome to Juve Gabiel. Forza Milito!! :pint: (it's close enough to official to welcome him, right?) Great signing. I'm glad we got him ahead of other clubs.

    Klaas Jan Huntelaar

Come on Secco, get it done :excited:

I wouldn't mind that line-up at all. Iaquinta and Alex would offer nice support for Huntelaar while Almiron would do well with Pavel and Camo to each side. Right now, I'm mostly just relieved that it looks like we'll have a competent back four. This line-up COULD click well if the tactics are...

    Official: Vincenzo Iaquinta to Juve

I meant 10-15 goals max. I certainly hope he can pot as many as 15. If he does, I agree, it would be a good contribution. I have my doubts though. But like I said, I'm not going to write him off just yet. A lot of his (and our) success this year will depend on team chemistry. If all the players...

    Official: Almiron to Juve

If the deal remains the way it is, it will be a bargain. Almiron is no world-beater but as long as he can hold his own he will be good for the team.

    Official: Vincenzo Iaquinta to Juve

All I can say is good luck to him and that I hope he can contribute well. I'm not going to write him off as crap, but I'm not going to predict anymore than 10-15 goals for him either. Its really starting to feel like the directors are putting together a mid-table team for next year. Sorry guys...

    Klaas Jan Huntelaar

That's why I said he has superstar potential, as opposed to flat out calling him a world-class player. But I honestly think his goal scoring record at Ajax (and the variety of ways in which he scores them) over the last two years is no fluke. Sure, if you have one 20+ season then yeah.. you've...

    Klaas Jan Huntelaar

I've been waiting to hear something official about this one for a while, I hope we don't have to wait much longer. Huntelaar is pure class and can score goals in any situation. He surely has superstar potential written all over him, he just needs a team like Juve to give him a shot at a big...

    2007/2008 Juve jerseys news

The red lettering is just shocking. It's a real eyesore and clashes heavily with the black, white, yellow and blue already there. If this is the real deal, I can only hope that seeing it in person will be easier on the eyes than looking at it on a bright screen. :disagree: The bit of red on...

    David Trezeguet

After Buffon committed to the club, I was very postive but Trez's actions today really do show this is not the Juve we know and love. Personally, I think Trez's actions were over the top. We all know the trouble he has had with the club and how he feels, but after a glorius seven-year stint...
