    Momo Sissoko

Momo just keeps getting better and better. I take back everything I said about him being a bad signing (yeah yeah... a bit late, I know). He really is looking like the energetic engine that he was during his first year at Liverpool and not the one that ended up playing second fiddle on the bench...

    Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira

I'd do this deal in an instant. I have seen little improvement or flashes of potential from Nocerino this season (unfortunately) and Marchionni doesn't really figure into our plans. Not a bad trade-off for one of the better strikers out there. Trez and Alex aren't getting any younger...

    Sergio Almiron

I for one haven't said much about Almiron all season, but him leaving us without ever really getting a decent chance saddens me. I still remember his performances in pre-season and the screamer of a goal he scored against Parma in the Coppa. Yet despite his early success, he's barely seen any...

The Official Jean-Alain Boumsong Thread (Lyon)

Oh my god, I can't beleive this is happening. First we try to get rid of him and he stubbornly decides he'd rather stay on the bench here. Now when he finally wants to leave and we have an agreement to give him away to Lyon... Juve management want to keep him because of injuries. Cruel cruel...

    New CB in January/June pt2

I hear he's the best defender outside Serie A. All of the major teams are lining him up. There... that might have got Secco's attention :eyebrows:

    Klaas Jan Huntelaar

You guys are making me depressed :( Seriously though, I'm feeling more and more inclined to fly over to Secco and give him a good throttling. We're never going to build a Champions League team and title contender with this guy in charge of bringing in players.

    Official: Mohamed Sissoko to Juve

Sissoko's first season at Liverpool was impressive, but I can't believe I just heard you (or anyone) compliment his passing and crossing ability. Sissoko is hands down the WORST passer I've ever seen playing in midfield. I would argue that when it comes to winning balls Sissoko is just as good...

Serbian Under-21 International Captain: Branislav Ivanovic

All of the above. How can we be publicly linked with a player for months and the media treats it like a sure-fire signing and then out of the blue, Chelsea come in and sign him straight up without ever having been linked with him before. Someone at Juve (*cough*Secco*cough*) f'ed this one up...

Serie A: Parma vs Juventus [November 11 2007]

The one Sunday I don't have work and the game is not being televised in Canada... Not impressed. Hopefully I can find a stream for the match though. I'm hoping for a comfortable win and clean sheet. Should be entertaining either way. Forza Juve!

    Vincenzo Iaquinta

Hmmmmmm.... I hate to say this (or do I?) but Iaquinta is really starting to grow on me. Seeing him day-in day-out, you really get an appreciation for his pace and he's shown himself to be more than a quick, selfish player with a poor touch. When we signed him I say I'd be pleased if he...

Serie A: Fiorentina Vs Juventus [October 07 2007]

I'm still a fan of Almiron and personally I prefer having both him and Tiago on the team. Ultimately, I see them occupying the middle of the pitch alongside one another. But in order for that to happen: 1) They both need to be in good form and 2) Our defence needs work so the midfield has more...

Serie A: Fiorentina Vs Juventus [October 07 2007]

I'm immensely looking forward to this match. I actually have Sunday free this week too so I'll be able to watch it. Barring fitness, I believe Tiago's performance in the last game (based on what I've read, I missed the game because of work) warrents a call-up in the starting 11. We need someone...

    [Serie A] Cagliari - Juventus [02/09/2007]

It seemed like, except for Chiellini and Camo, all of our players were missing a step today. Alex and Pavel had some moments where they looked dangerous, but they were far apart. Our defence was just awful. Chiellini had his hands full with Foggia but I don't think he handled himself too bad...

    [Coppa] Parma vs Juventus

GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SALI!!! HAHA, what a horrible deflection Weak penalty call btw on Parma's goal. But to their credit, Zebina was waaay out of position and did possibly take away a scoring chance on that play.

    [Coppa] Parma vs Juventus

    What a shot by Almiron!!

    [Coppa] Parma vs Juventus

I still believe the Coppa should be used to give some fringe/young players more experience. Sure, throw a couple of starters in there, but use the game as a friendly. A lot of you are saying we should be treating this like our Champion's League campaign, but I don't agree. Our priority should...

Serie A: Juventus vs Livorno [August 25 2007]

A long way to go, yes. Especially early in the game there were moments where it seemed like a lack of understanding/communication really exposed some gaping holes (which we would have paid for dearly had it not been for Livorno's inability to push forward). That was minimized towards the end of...

Serie A: Juventus vs Livorno [August 25 2007]

I watched the game for a second time and I have to say as the game went on our defence got better. They still do a poor job on set pieces and corners, but (other than the one goal at the end) they managed to shut Livorno out. I hope that postive trend continues as the season goes on.

Serie A: Juventus vs Livorno [August 25 2007]

Chiellini was great today, I hope he becomes a regular so he'll be happy about his situation at Juve because he's got future captain material written all over him. I'm happy with the effort overall. You could tell we weren't pushing the pace all that much (even in the first half) but still got...

    Tiago Mendes

Yeah, he's had a rocky start to his Juve career... so what. Best he gets it out of his system before the season starts. Despite the question marks, I think (with time) he'll still manage to be an effective member of the squad. If he's still lost after a month or two, then we can start to...
