Well, it'd be a nice change of pace to have a potential world class striker instead of average rubbish such as Martinez and Pepe. The only potential problem is that by getting this guy we probably rule out a move for Dzeko the next transfer season.

Poulsen really wasn't Secco's fault, Ranieri had a hard on for him while Secco had a deal already ready for Xabi Alonso.

Not to defend Secco or anything, but he had to rebuild a team that went to Serie B into a protagonist in Serie A. He made quite a few stupid transfers but I'd argue Marotta had an easier situation than him.
