  2. Giuseppe Marotta

We got 11 players in without CL money, if we got 2 or 3 great players instead of an army of mediocrity, we could be back in the premier competition. $15 million from Agnelli + say 30 million in transfer money plus sells could bring you a couple of really good players, especially considering the...
  3. Giuseppe Marotta

What is wrong with that? I explained the reason why, it'd be painful but it'd be better than limping along with Marotta and his italian transfers.
  4. Jorge Martínez

That's funny, this guy is in full damage control mode, the stress is getting to him. Lazio was rumored, when they were linked to the guy, to pay around 8 million. They hardly have the funds for crazy transfers, so it's easier to believe they wanted to pay 8 million rather than 15.
  5. Vincenzo Iaquinta

Probably Del Piero Quag will be the strikers again.
  6. Fabio Quagliarella

    That he's a mediocre footballer?
  7. Luigi "Vergogna" Delneri

When you see such horrible transfer market and how horrible our play is and how poor and indecisive most of our players are, it's not exactly a prediction.
  8. Andrea "Il Bruco Brutto" Agnelli

He let Marotta sell Diego and bring in Quaglallalalalala.
  9. Giuseppe Marotta

Honestly, I want us to do poorly so this person can leave Juve. Selling Diego is a massive mistake and this person's philosophy is not something that goes according to what I believe. Yes, it'd be painful to miss out on CL again, but it'd be better in the long run to get rid of incompetent...
  10. Marco 'The Escape Goat' Motta

    So, he's Juve's Naruto?? :snoop:
  11. Armand Traoré

They can believe that a giant onion created the universe as long as it doesn't prevent them from doing their job. Fasting does affect them, significantly at times (Sissoko), so I call that being unprofessional. Respect has nothing to do with it, it's their personal choice but it shouldn't affect...
  12. Rate our 2010 Mercato

+ Krasic + Aquilani + Bonucci - Pepe - Selling Diego - Selling Trez - Quag - Martinez - I liked Candreva Neutral = Motta, Lanzafame, Rinaudo, Traore Score = 1.5 / 5 This team has almost no creativity and the dismantlement of our attack was a disgrace.
  13. Il Capitano Alessandro Del Piero

Sorry, it's just that after being called everything for stating my point of view on him (and yes, sometimes emotion got the better of me), I'm already a bit predisposed. :)
  14. Armand Traoré

I don't think this is really related to religion, but rather to the athlete's health, that's why I kept the discussion, but I'll drop it.
  15. Il Capitano Alessandro Del Piero

And you didn't get mine. I don't have Del Piero, for the last time, but he should not have the role he has now, and the fact that he wants to play ALL THE TIME makes it irritating. That I don't appreciate his past years, especially on his peak is not true but his clinging to a starting spot is...

Being institutionalized = Making them eat 3 meals a day in accordance to the dietitian's plan?? And again, I don't hate Del Piero, but let's not get into that here.
  17. Il Capitano Alessandro Del Piero

Gerrard is 30, he still has some top level football years in him, Puyol is 32, but IIRC they did bring Chygrinsky (sp?) as a replacement but that didn't work out. Raul stopped being an integral part of the Real Madrid play since a while ago and played a bit player role. We're the only big club...

I'm no doctor, but I can't imagine not eating properly while doing physically demanding activities to not be harmful for your body. If some players do it regardless, then sometimes some people have to be protected from themselves.
  19. Armand Traoré

That'd be good, practices that can be dangerous for the well being of the athletes should be banned, it's just its religious nature that makes it a touchy subject.
  20. Armand Traoré

Thanks. Last mention of religion in this thread, as promised.
