  1. [Champions League] JUVENTUS vs Real Madrid (10/21/08)

Yeah the 3-5-2 is very different from a 4-4-2 or 4-5-1. Here in the states most kids learn to play a 3-5-2, and we can't play any other formation to save our lives :) How about that Del Piero? I love the little artist! And I'm just said Diarra was injured - I wanted to see him go toe to...
  2. The...I want this player to Juve thread

RIght now our best bet is Carlos Tevez. he is not playing at united (and maybe unhappy), deal ends this year with them, and has not signed anew one. We must sneak in for the January transfer window!
  3. [SERIE A] Napoli - Juventus (18th October, 2008)

Enough of this 4-4-2 stuff we need a 4-3-3 with wingers! I would like to see the ball go forward from time to time, maybe create a chance, I dont know, score a goal?
  4. Il Capitano Alessandro Del Piero

Daria - thanks for the insight on the owners. I definitely think owner turmoil can cause major problems: just look at Newcastle this year and Liverpool last year. (Sorry for so many EPL references I am still new to Seria A)
  5. [SERIE A] Juventus - Palermo (5th October, 2008)

Yeah But Chelsea and United has lots of injuries and injuries to key players but keep chugging along. Maybe Italy needs to convert to the Pound so they can have more money to buy good players :)
  6. [SERIE A] Napoli - Juventus (18th October, 2008)

Goal.com. Ha. Ha. Ha. At least they can translate without making a mess of things. Thats a step in the right direction. BTW- will Camaronesi be fully fit for the Napoli match?
  7. [SERIE A] Napoli - Juventus (18th October, 2008)

Eriksson is not free - he is coach of Mexico, a posh job, well paid, and because he is a foreigner they will complain but not fire him (like Lavolpe). Ramos will be available in January - then Tottenham will either be relegated or find a white knight coach
  8. [SERIE A] Juventus - Palermo (5th October, 2008)

The squad is just not big enough. The champions league money will help us reinforce the squad for next season. Right not we just do not have enough of a bench. And yes we must stay away from injury prone players and anyone over 30
  9. [SERIE A] Juventus - Palermo (5th October, 2008)

I wish we had signed Xabi in the offseason - he would be the perfect midfield compliment to Sissoko in a game like this
  10. [Champions League] BATE Borisov - Juventus (30 September, 2008)

Ranieri was good coaching against Serie B teams, but he can't hold his own in terms of tactical flexibility and good substitutions on the fly. I think he is too cerebral and cannot relate to players or get them excited.
  11. [SERIE A] Sampdoria - Juventus (27th September, 2008)

A draw away from home is never bad- it is still early in the season. However, this game had all the exctiement of watching grass grow
  12. Claudio Ranieri

Yeah Camo is priceless- if he is not fully fit, he should be rested. Giovinco could slide over and Nedved could handle the left. I love Ranieri interviews: he says everything and nothing at the same time.
  13. [SERIE A] Juventus - Catania (24th September, 2008)

I think its important to take away a negative and a positive from each game and no more. Even when we win 4-0 there is something to imrpove, and even when we lose 0-4 somebody did something right (there are 11 players on the field). The trick is to not get complacent ever and keep working...
  14. [SERIE A] Sampdoria - Juventus (27th September, 2008)

Camaronesi is the first person that would be in any lineup!
  15. Capitano Giorgio Chiellini

Defenders play a good game when nobody sees them!
  16. Pavel Nedved

Those what-ifs are fun but very stressful. Being so close yet so far.....
  17. Pavel Nedved

Nedved-gotta love the hair, although his tackles can be a bit reckless and late. But hey you want an omelette you have to crack some eggs
  18. Il Capitano Alessandro Del Piero

Del Piero oozes class: his first touch is so silky smooth. You get the sensation that a feather couldn't be softer.
  19. Hello

from Texas (in the USA). I am a lifelong soccer fan who follows MLS and the Mexican league, but am developing a curiosity for calcio. I am a big fan of Camaronesi and Trezeguet (I always spell his name wrong). I also hear Juve have a decent goal keeper....
