well i can see you dont like Trezeguet, for me if he's scoring the goals thats whats important. Not how he scored, if it was head feet, knee etc or from 1,2 or 30 yards. it dont matter.....he scores!!!

as i ahve said before, if we had better quality creation, then trez would
score more. He is our top scorer desipite him being injured and the fact our atacking football involve hit and run, pace and strenght tactics, not creation via great crosses or good passes. Trez, when suppolied adequately is one of the best finishers in the world.

Well youre wrong......in 1997 i started to like him,he was in monaco....kicking every kind of goals....spectacular.....i prayed god that he joins Juve one day....that day has come.....3 seasons have gone by.....we won 2 scudettos......and than I started to watch him more objective....not from my heart as a juve and treze fan.....and I realized that he is limited player.....that he can do nothing without a good passer.....well,when Nedved was in the zenith....he did scored.....without him....he sucked....he was the worst part of UEFA CL finals.....missed a penalty,did nothing.
I vote for his stay if we refresh our midfield with a good schemer(not MARESCA) and a winger.....if not....bye-bye....and buy all-round attacker like Sheva(thats comparision onley).

I agree with everything you said Barkuss. Trezeguet easily plays well against teams like Modena and Empoli, but when it comes to playing against Milan or Deportivo, Trez is no where to be found except for not knowing what to do when he can't get a pass that he can tap in on the goal line. Trez is just a goal poacher; he is miles behind the dynamic Shevchenko. I would love to see Ibrahimovic come to Juve because he is more like a Sheva than a Trez; he is very capable to take on defenders and score. Another thing about Zlatan is that he has so much more confidence than Trez. I was watching Ajax play AZ this weekend in the Dutch League and Ibrahimovic had a wonder goal; Sneijder on a free kick lofted the ball into the box. The ball looked like it was going to go to the keeper, but Zlatan acrobaticaly flicked his foot up and sensationaly touched the ball into the net! After the goal, Ibrahimovic himself did not even look impressed, almost like he does it all the time. Now that is the type of striker that is successful, just like Sheva.
When it comes to goal-getting and finishing, Trez is very good, but that's all, and I mean ALL he has to offer. It may be enough for you, maybe even enough for Lippi, but it isn't for me. The difference between Trezeguet and world-class strikers like Henry, Ronaldo and Shevchenko is that when the service to them isn't good, the world-beating ones that I mentioned will drop deeper, pull wider, roam the pitch, whatever, but the point is that they make an effort to get themselves into the game. Trez doesn't, and that's why more pressure than needed is on the shoulders of Del Piero and Nedved.
I say we sell Trez and DYO to bring in some cash, and get Zlatan and Gilardino, maybe Cavenaghi as well, but Fernando would be loaned out to Parma or Chievo or some other midtable team so as to gain experience. That would leave us with Del Piero, Miccoli, Ibrahimovic and Gilardino upfront, which is definitely an upgrade to what we currently have imo, and if someone gets injured we can promote Chiumento or Benjamin from the Primavera team. Sounds like a good plan, right?

Screw penetration, it's this simple: the attacking mids and the support strikers (DP, Mic) use their creativity and technical ability to set up the the out-and-out strikers (Zlatan, Gila). That's the exact same way that we're playing right now, except it's better because Zlatan and Gilardino are capable of getting involved in the build-up play and creating opportunities for themselves and others.
just how much do you think we are going to get for Trez in todays market?
