Our public transportation is in a league of its own though...

Forget it: It's not in our nature. That's why our country rules ;)
All I know is that my trip to the Den haag was like going to a museum by the state of your street cars there. And last night I rode on this beauty. whee!

Street car? That's a tram :D

Yeah ours kinda suck don't they :(

Amsterdam has trams like you do though. But there's good news; they're building Randstadrail (subway is impossible in The Hague cause the ground is too soft or summat) which is a light rail system and it'll look like this: :extatic:

Supposed to be done in 2007 though so I'll be stuck in the rustboxes for some time yet :D

Trams sorry. I just finished the streetcar named desire play yesterday, and somehow whenever I picture the streetcars in the new orleans setting I picture those in Den Haag;)

When your tram system is like that, you will totally outclass ours. Do you happen to know if they are doing this in Maastricht?

Uuhh not that I know off; Randstadrail only covers the Hague and Rotterdam. These things are decided on a provincial level. You should check with the province of Limburg or something for info on Maastricht :undecide:

Why Maastricht tho?
