Imagine him returning here?
If he was willing to be a sub (which I imagine would be impossible), he could be a nice depth option and would give us to CFs, given that having only 1 Sarri seemed to think was not ideal.. The guy is in amazing shape, and who wouldn't at least be curious as to what CR7 and Ibra would do on the pitch at the same time (other than potentially get into a fight.) The motivation for Zlatan? Play in Italy, near Milan and have a good shot for the Champions League.

Zlatan looks out for Zlatan. He can't play in Serie B, doesn't matter which club he's at. It's difficult to feel betrayed by him, because you know that's just how he is. If Ale had left for Milan, it would have hurt like hell. But Zlatan? You expect him to leave.

We were his first big club, Zlatan wasn't even Zlatan then, could've shown some altruism/loyalty, or at least not act like a disrespectful bitch toward our directors.

Zlatan was leaving even if Calciopoli didnt happen. He had regular fights with Moggi. He was the league best player in his first season, but 2nd season struggle he didnt see the club value him as much (contract)so he was openly protesting/petulant in the last months. It got way worse with his playstation boycotts when the Serie B verdict came.

The main thing that changed with Calciopoli was it narrowed down our sellers to Inger, with vulture like price to boot.

Seven is right, Zlatan looks out for nr 1, he never hid that.
