By the Scandinavian standard, those places are most definitely ghettos. Nothing like the projects in USA, but still like a jungle when compared to some of the middle class neighborhoods here.

Indeed, I lived in so called version of that in my town. Your average joe in the town talks about it like its Compton, but its a perfectly fine and lovely place, with occasional cars being burned by bored kids who fashionably take after other bored kids in Paris
