That's a possibility, a solid one, but not a fact. Eto'o was a one man team for Inter, scoring and assisting around 90% of all the goals they scored. He was suspended, we wondered and laughed who's gonna score the goals for Inter now, and they ended up beating Parma 5:2 without Eto'o.
I think that Zlatan's presence is making Milan psychologically stronger. Undoubtedly, he makes them a more potent side and one can't ignore his pure footballing contribution, but it's something else that Zlatan adds that makes Milan stronger.

Okay, first of all they beat Parma 5-2. Parma. After that game they struggled to find a goal without Eto'o.
As for Milan, I agree that defenders in Italy seem intimidated by Zlatan. The point is, however, I'm not sure if anyone can think of a single player in the world today who has been as effective and dare I say consistent as Zlatan in giving their team the win.

I meant your "6th place" opinion. I too have no doubt that Milan weren't gonna be leading the standings if Zlatan wasn't there, but even without him they could gather enough points to be in top 4 in this particular serie A season. They are still good enough to beat the minor teams (they won 4:0 in round 1 without Zlatan) but they probably wouldn't have ended up winning all 4 matches against Inter, Napoli, Fiorentina and Palermo in which Zlatan scored the four decisive and winning goals.
Its hard to argue against Zlatan being the best forward in the world at the moment. Villa has been inconsistent for Barcelona, even though he's had a good few games recently, he has been nowhere near Zlatan's form. The same can be said of Drogba to a lesser extent. The only one you could argue with is Eto'o. You can make a very compelling case for Eto'o, not only has he been single handedly winning games for Inter, he's also the top scorer in the CL at the moment.
Maybe 6th place was exaggerated, they could have been leading the tabe but now with a 6 point lead. I agree that it is impossible to speculate where they would have been but his impact on their current run is extremely obvious. For once in years you can see Milan capable of fighting for the Scudetto and the CL and this is not thanks to Allegri nor Prince.

Your observation is correct. Zlatan is growing into a team player which is an incredible change from the selfish egoist he used to be 4 years ago. Those who follow the Swedish NT were saying how lately Zlatan is becoming a great team player and in Milan he confirms that.
