Thing is that people forgot how good he is when he played in Barcelona. Guardiola used him just to avoid offside as if he was Inzaghi or Trezeguet. If Guardiola had given Zlatan a free role as Milan and Inter did, with Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and the other guys, Zlatan would have been a monster. Thats mainly why Zlatan wanted to leave since he didn't appreciate not being involved in the game and being used as a poacher.

They can't give him a free role in the team, Iniesta, Messi and Xavi all have free roles in the team, adding yet another player to that list would have been disastrous. A lot of people predicted that Zlatan wouldn't do well in Barcelona, simply because he is not a center forward, that you expect to just wait near the box and score goals, he's not a striker that would accept to just stay up there and hold the ball up for the likes of Messi, Henry and Pedro. Him not doing well in Barca says nothing about his quality as a player imo, nothing at all.
