He's getting the highest wages in the football world in Inter. Something he won't be getting anywhere else. What Barca could offer him at most was 3m eur less than what Inter are giving. What Ronaldo will earn in Real will still be less than what Zlatan's getting in Inter.
And still he wanted to leave Inter.

At least it means that he's not a money hunting mercenary as people love to call him. He won everything in Italy and he's aware that he can't win anything in Europe with Inter. He just wanted a change and a chance to win the biggest trophy in club football.

Respect to Zlatan!
Inter and Inter's fans can soap it.

That's what his agent said and not him, that he might accept a wage-cut to Madrid. Others are saying that he decided to stay at Inter because Real Madrid/Barcelona can't pay the same wages Inter paying him.

Burdisso has won everything in Italy too, still doesn't change much.

Screw Zlatan.

Aha, well almost everything that was said was said by the agent, not Zlatan. I think Zlatan has the same agent as Nedved, Mino Raiola. So if we don't trust his agent on the part about the wages, we shouldn't trust him about everything else that he said.

The only thing that was said by Zlatan was that he won everything in Inter and that he knows where he will play next year.

Everything else is a speculation.

And who are others? (the bolded part)

Nedved is a different situation. Our mang's got terrible history when it comes to renewing contracts, therefore whatever Raiola was going to say was not going to make sense to me at least.

Others= Media, Inters fans, Press, Moratti meeting with Barcelona mang first then Real Madrid. Looks like Moratti agreed at last but Zlatan rejected. Could be too many things like I said, but then again lets not make him a hero for something he never stated/said;).

But i still don't get what provoked the anger of the Inter fans. I just read that goal.com article from Martin's link and all there is there is Zlatan saying "No-one can predict the future but for now it's just Inter".
Previously he never said that he's going to leave Inter and now he's not saying that he's 100% Inter without a chance to leave. That's where lies the weakness of the argument that he wants to leave but no-one wants to buy him.

It's the same media you're mentioning and the same agent that created all the drama, so if the Inter fans should be mad at someone that should be mad at the media and his agent.

And Inter fans are just being...well...Inter fans. The guy is a one man team, brought them the scudetti that without him wouldn't have been won even with all the dirty tricks of Moratti. They should be kissing his feet instead of attacking him.

Personally though, i think he wants to leave and i believe he'll accept a pay-cut in order to do so. 2-3m more or less means shit to someone who already has so much money. But a chance to win the CL and a chance to win the ballon d'or means a world to him.

Maybe he should start picking his words better. Fans don't like the "For now I'm staying here" "I won everything in Italy, I already know my future" "I want something new"

One of the video links Esteban or Sadomin posted in the Serie A 07/08 where he said that he knows where he's going to be next year. This is one silly statement. If you know where you are heading, either state it like a man and stop playing with Inter fans or just shout your mouth.

He picked the 1st one which made him look like a prick.
