Arrigo Sacchi has stood by his comment that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 'the greatest soloist in the word'.
Ibrahimovic attacked Sacchi live on TV after last week's match between Milan and Auxerre in the Champions League.
The Sweden international infamously told Sacchi to shut up, causing quite a stir in the Italian media.
“Ibra is the greatest soloist in the word,” Sacchi said. “If he adapts to a team's tactics he can become the greatest player in absolute.
“I hope that he has more success than I had in my years at Milan's helm. I am surrounded by affection and respect.
“I am sorry for this business [with Ibra]. My criticisms were only technical. It seems strange to me because I am Berlusconi and Galliani's friend and I believe that I did something for Milan as the fans' recognition demonstrates.
“Ibra didn't do any good PR for himself. But I believe he was just tired after the game,” he concluded. [/FONT]
