Dont buy into his retarded bullshit of biasm. What I have against this is he is CALLING zlatan a xenophobic term, not just insult. If people get off insulting Zlatan, ok, call him a camel, a prick, whatever. But ethnic slurrs is not defendable in either way, and even if they dont mean it seriously, it FEEDS bigotry. Zingaro, cetnik, gypsy, its more "acceptable" to insult gypsies, but it doesnt make it any more right or less xenophobic term.

Its so fucking lame childish argument to say I am against bigotry because he is swedish. It doesnt matter what nationality is Zlatan is, disrespect him however you like, and whatever Inter player, but when it bring in ethnic xenophobic comments, thats when its too much. I mean he is actually defending by saying few juventini say it on the stadio. Well they were FINED for their racist chants, the idiots shamed our club, good fucking argument.

I mean seriously, you wouldnt support monkey chants, or if a muslim player was called terrorist, or arabs like him ragheads blabla. Bigotry in any form despite varying in severity, is not right. Despite the poor lifestyle of gypsies (and however they validate the stereotypes), it doesnt make it any less of bigoted crap to completely demean them and refer to them as subhuman, as it insinuates when they are used as a benchmark insult.

We are seriously defending xenophobia now? Just because it doesnt "relate" to us, or offend us specifically, its allright?
I'm not defending it, but this sort of stuff is common and we have to deal with it.

Again, pretty much every week I see people here using my nationality against me, and nobody says anything. Calling somebody a gypsy is not of my concern because a gypsy could be almost anybody.

If you consider saying fuck fuck fuck word word word, dialogue, I give you credence.

By the way, it would be hard for you to overrate players from your country as they are all second rate.
What is your point? If you have read my posts, they're far more than a bunch of fucks and shits. But suit yourself.

My players are second rate? Okay, maybe so. Which nation do you support so I can critique your personnel?

Thats some bullshit, Andy, real real bullshit. You dont accept bigotry by saying its common. You dont mind because its a player you hate, but if a player you like or care about is targetted with xenophobic taunts, then you wouldnt be as dismissive. Ethnic slurrs are ethnic slurrs despite what group its aimed and to whom (the idiot who is constantly saying this would go apeshit crazy if an arab player was ethnically insulted). You wouldnt accept monkey chants, would you? Why be so accepting of this crap.

In my almost 15 years as a Juventino, I cant remember any time we were fined due to racist chants, instead of discourage it, this little mofo is constantly repeating the bigoted crap OVER and OVER again in this forum.

Never have I "accepted it." I don't use the word, but the definition of gypsy includes various races, as it began as a term from wandering Hindu nomads. It can't be racism when all races are subject to the word.

But I do understand where Alen is coming from in this.

I'm pretty sure you don't feel offended, but you're rather trying to force yourself, Alen.
I'm not that offended because those of you who were calling him a Zingaro had no idea why he was called a Zingaro.
Zlatan has been called everything here. I never reacted and i never cared how do you call an Inter player, except twice when some of you called him a Zingaro.
The first time was back when the fans used the term for the first time and the second time was today when Osman replied to the Zingaro post.

Again, it's up to you how will you call him. But don't be surprised if from time to time i react to "Zingaro".
Also, if the fans start calling him a dirty muslim terrorist, i will call all of you, who are muslims and who call him a zingaro, hypocrites if you don't also call Zlatan a dirty muslim terrorist.

And yes, as much as you try to prove otherwise, calling him a zingaro is just as insultive to some of us as calling him a dirty muslim terrorist will be offending some of you.
And also, no matter if you believe it or not, i'd react the same if the fans call Pandev, Knezevic, Jankovic or Handanovic a Zingaro. Zlatan or Jankovic (a Serb) is absolutely the same to me.

Dont get semantic, its a clearly very insulting xenophobic word, if you want to technically say its not racist, ethnic insults are bigoted crap either way.

You dont use the word, but you dont mind, and arent doing much else then condone it by insinuatiing one is a biased swede just because I was speaking against an idiot saying clear ethnic slurs to a swedish player, and its fucking idiotic to assume I am against xenophobia because he is a swedish player. If its so OK to say it, why were Juve fined because of those chants?

Frankly its ABSOLUTELY retarded bigoted comments like that has become the absolute norm in this forum, I see it ALL the time (and no offence, but I would ban them on the spot if I hear crap like that in XT), and its almost allways this mod who says it, with few others (I remember the first times I kept seeing it, I reported it through the report function, then to only realise not only is the norm to say that bigoted crap, but its mods who say it all the time).

Its not a fucking joke (calling him a camel nose is, just like calling Ruud a horse etc). Just as if this mod was constantly called a fucking terrorist raghead all the time is not really funny joke. If I started to call Mido a raghead terrorist all the time, would it be ok? Or would I be banned?

Why should I do anything to oppose the word? Why is it that whenever somebody supposedly insults Europeans people make a stink, but when people use my nationality against me, people find it acceptable? Why should I, as someone who is always subject to the same sort of treatment here, care about the damn gypsy terminology?

No, I don't care, let the word fly for all to see. I won't use the word but I don't give a care if people use it. Racism is what I'll speak out against.

This whole topic has brought back old memories. There was this old-folks home in front of my middle school in Sweden and I remember this really old guy that used to walk around with his walker. After every few steps he'd have an involuntary spasm that turned his walker into anyone that was walking by him.

Anyway, every time I walked by him he'd crash his walker into me and yell "Jävla Zigenare!!" (Fucking Gypsy!) :D

That just goes to show you have no idea of what the terms and reality of racism really are.

It's the same. All of them are about hating and hurting the others who are not like you.
You hate someone because he doesn't look like you. You're white, he's yellow. You start killing him and the others like him.
Osman hates someone because he doesn't believe in the same God as he does. He starts killing him and taking his land.
I hate my neighbour who moved to my city few years ago because he doesn't speak the same language as i do and he doesn't behave like me. I'm affraid that he and the others like him will start taking over my job, my land. I start killing them.

We in the Balkans have a long history of wars and genocides and we did that to other white folks. We aren't racist but we're just as bad.

It's just a word for God's sake. I could be extremely upset when somebody calls me a YANK, a derogatory term when you all use it, but do I? NO! Why? because it's just a fucking word.

So much stink over ZINGARO but it's okay to call people a YANK.

Please, spare me your bullshit, Osman.
