Reports in Italy are indicating that Juventus are looking to open talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic over a new contract for the Swedish star.
The Serie A champions have just tied Gianluca Zambrotta down to a new deal and are now ready to find an accord with their talented hit-man as well.
Since his arrival from Ajax last summer Ibrahimovic has been in impressive form for The Bianconeri and they are now looking to reward his efforts by extending his agreement until 2010.
Coach Fabio Capello has already voiced his belief that the Swedish international is a future European Footballer of the Year, and would be loath to lose the gifted forward. Ibrahimovic's current deal expires in 2008 although talks will be held in the next few days and it is anticipated that a trouble-free accord should result.
