Zidane had a fantastic international career no doubt, but overall Platini had the better career and was the better player imo.

Arguable. I'm no Zidane fan, but man is one of the few players that has a complete trophy cabinet. Continental title (Euro Cup), World Cup, Champions League, lots of league titles, ballon d'or. The man got it all, he's no bum baggio. @Bianconero81
