Vieira awaits Juve answers Tuesday 30 May, 2006

Patrick Vieira admits he is uncertain of his future as Juventus risk demotion, while Lazio become embroiled in another scandal.
The Bianconeri are at the centre of the Calciopoli investigation into alleged match-fixing and collusion with referees, which could see the club docked points or even relegated to Serie B.
It’s believed that this worst case scenario would see many of the top stars rush to leave Turin, with Vieira already linked to a return to the Premiership.
“This is all very worrying for me, just as it is for the other players,” said the former Arsenal midfielder from the French World Cup training camp at Clairefontaine.
“We all want to know what will happen and, like my colleagues Lilian Thuram and David Trezeguet, I am impatient to see what comes out of this.”
Emerson and
Gianluca Zambrotta have already warned they wouldn’t pledge their allegiance to Juve
in case of a demotion, so Europe’s top clubs are on transfer red alert for the verdicts, which should beg revealed over the next three weeks.
Meanwhile, the scandal continues to grow, as it was today announced that Lazio are under investigation for alleged financial irregularities in the process of floating their shares on the stock exchange.
The Biancocelesti, who are already part of the match-fixing inquiry, saw their offices and the house of President Claudio Lotito raided by financial police.
