Now that Il Capitano Alex, Canna, and Zambrotta are willing to stay, I'm yet to hear from Buffon though I can't see him stating something like this.
Buffon, "I will play with Milan no matter what happens with Juventus"

why abbiati? I'd take bonnefoi. Otherwise he will leave sooner or later. I think he has a great potential but as a goalkeeper (same as a pitch-player) u need absolutely to get experience. And what would be better to gain experience as a season in serie b? I actually would even dare to say: Sell abbiati (&Buffon), get another (younger, cheaper) goalkeeper, and invest the resulting money in other players.

My Opinion is, that we are not going to B or even C, but actually, if i think of it from a more objective way; it would not be that bad for juventus. (Of course, the juventino in me starts screaming at this moment) but evaluate the facts; some very important core-players will stay (Zambro, DP, Canna, ..) Marchionni will get the chance to play, same goes for bonnefoi (perhaps). Then we will be able to test out people like volpato, etc etc...
In more, I think a relegation could indeed bring some fresh air, even if it is a little bit the radical way. As for the leaving of emerson for example; I know for sure that he is a great player, with a great technique, and some very smart playmaking-aspects BUT he is getting older, and i think he has become quite slow in the last time. Of course, letting him leave will not be good for juve but on the other hand; if, by those means, we will be able to test & find new talented players, then its not that bad after all.

Forza Zambrotta. :touched:

Why this man was not given the armband before Thuram is something only our great Capello can answer.
Yes, that truly is one of the mysteries of life.

Zambrotta: I'm no cheat
Saturday 27 May, 2006, Channel4.com, Football Italia

Gianluca Zambrotta claims it would be “an injustice” if he and his Juventus teammates were stripped of two Scudetti.

“It would be an injustice if Juve saw the last two Serie A titles revoked,” said the Italian international.

“My teammates and I earned everything on the field with hard work, professionalism and fair play. It’s horrible to hear fans call me a thief, as I have never stolen anything in my life.”

The ‘Calciopoli’ inquest could see Juve stripped of Scudetti, docked points or even relegated to Serie B if they are found guilty of match-fixing and collusion with referees.

The investigations have spilled out into the Azzurri training camp at Coverciano, where supporters have jeered Juventus stars Fabio Cannavaro, Gigi Buffon and Zambrotta.

“The investigation will find the culpable parties and if someone has done illegal things, behind the backs of the players, then it’s right they pay the price. Those who made the mistakes must be removed from football for life.”

Emerson warned this week that he would not stand by Juventus if they were relegated into Serie B and Zambrotta also refused to pledge his future to the side.

“I have a contract until 2010, but I am also 29 years old,” said the versatile full-back. “Right now I don’t feel I can say that I’ll definitely stay. There are many factors to evaluate.”

Barcelona are keeping a close eye on the situation and there are reports that they’ll stage a swoop for Zambrotta this summer, whether Juve are relegated or not.

He isn’t the only Bianconeri star the Spaniards are interested in, as there are also rumours of a bid for David Trezeguet or Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

So what's the fuss about Zambrotta? He basically said the same thing that Puma did. Everybody were angry with Puma but Zambrotta is some sort of a hero? Come on. I understand these players completely.

Look, we know we got a mercenary with Emerson. It's a choice the guy made a couple of years back and it's a choice that will prevent him from ever becoming a true legend of the game. It's the same with Ballack and players such as Crespo (although I'll always will remember Crespo, as he's just that incredibely good) and Vieri. No need to bash him, because he IS 29, he IS a mercenary and therefore WILL look at the best option available. And Juventus in Serie B simply ISN'T that best option.

Exactly, except this is a Zambrotta thread. I wouldn't be harsh towards Puma or Zambrotta if they leave, it's just reality.

With the amount of players that have decided to stay if Juve are relegated, we will instantly win Serie B, why is everyone freaking out ? Well just loan the players that want out..

Interesting that all the players who said that they are going to stay with Juve even in Serie B are Italians: Del Piero, Palladino, Cannavaro, Marchionni and now Zambrotta.
